Exactly how long is the band from end to end? 8 inches? More?

The long section is 4 3/4 inches. Too big for me. I've been buying this model of watch for many years and really liked it WHEN I could get the shorter band. This one extends 2 inches beyond the buckle on my wrist, so it's always catching on things. Ugh!

What battery does this watch require?

It is not CR1216. Correct one is SR626, which is the standard watch size battery. Best to look at actual battery for correct number.

Do you push the button for the Indiglo to work or does it come on when it gets dark out?

You PUSH the button for the indiglo light to work. Excellent feature!

What is the size of the watch face bezel to bezel? 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch

The bezel is 1 inch in diameter. Easy to read time, but can't read the calendar.

Excellent wrist watch

Excellent wrist watch. Large numbers enables to see time clearly. Indiglo (Night light) helps view clear dials and hands. Only dampener is that mfg is old.

Great watch

Have been wearing this watch style for over 35+ years. Love that you can push the button to see time in the dark, its not digital, battery last a year or longer, easy to read & I like the look of it. My only issue is that the watch band doesn't last anywhere as long as the watch & its getting harder to find replacements for them unless you go to jewelry store If you have had it for a while it's just cheaper to buy another new one You can have the more expensive watches these are little work horses that do not disappoint.
