Good product

I've used Sea Foam for many years. It is a very good product. It does help clean the oil AND the fuel. I also have used Techron fuel additive, which is very good as well. I have to say that the BG 44K Platinum Cleaner is the best of these (3) products. It is expensive, yes. But worth it. I alternate between the 3 additives, using them on a 2006 Honda Civic and a 2020 Chevrolet High Country L84 5.3L engine with Dynamic Fuel Management (which is the STUPIDEST thing GM EVER did). Did they not learn from the Cadillac engine that deactivating cylinders is NOT the solution? Apparently not. I'm pretty sure this overkill maintenance is prolonging my engine's life in the truck. I have zero lifter tick. Plenty of performance. Idles perfectly, so something is working. It's sad that you have to use all these additives on these newer engines......but it's cheaper than a new motor. I also only run Name Brand Quality Full Synthetic oil with a WIX filter and QUALITY fuel on both vehicles. I like Mobil 1, Castrol Edge, Valvoline, and Penzoil, in that order of preference. You really have to stay on top of these engines. Especially the GM DFM direct injection disaster engines. I use the additives every 5-7000 miles. I change oil at 3000 miles religiously which is absolutely ridiculous for a NEW engine.........but it's either that or a new engine. I tried the RANGE AFM/DFM delete, but it does not work with the GM 10 speed automatic transmission YET. DOD delete and engine rebuild with new cam is DEFINITELY in the future, because I DO like the truck - just not the engine. I've lost all faith in GM products. I've owned GM vehicles for 50 years. I wish Honda would make a REAL truck instead of the Ridgeline. Anyway, yes BG 44K is a good product. Try it and you'll see.

I have researched and read all the reviews on other sites. This is the best of the best. So if you want to keep your fuel system clean, you'll find each can is effective. You'll need a funnel to pour it into your gasoline intake, but it is easy to open with its pop-top.
