Although we just received and installed it, thus far this shower head is as advertised and after ordering a returning one fixture already, we're pretty happy. We have an extension arm attached to the shower wall pipe which works great with these "semi rain shower head" type fixtures. We have heights anywhere from 5'4" to 6'4" using this shower so the arm allows for adjustment if needed as well as allowing the water stream to fall more toward the middle of the tub and the swivel on a shower head is absolutely mandatory in our house to accommodate our various heights. This shower head is really nice looking. It looks like metal but is constructed of chromed ABS which means it's very light weight which works great with the extension arms as too much weight can stress these arms. It really looks much more expensive than it was. This shower head does have a brass connector with a swivel ball joint that, while initially quite stiff, has loosened up just enough to hold the shower head in place without being so hard to adjust, it causes stress to the extension arm. We have decent city water pressure and this shower head seems to deliver that pressure well. The settings are easy to adjust kind of clicking into place. The rain setting is obviously a lighter pressure, wider stream, producing a "rain-like" feeling. The massage setting is a smaller diameter stream but delivers a strong almost pulsating stream which is soothing. The combination setting is just that, a combination of massage and rain. We are used to having only one setting so, overall, we are pleased to have a couple of options. The only way to make this fixture better would be to have a pause setting for when you're lathering up hair and/or body in order to save a little water as it borders on being a little bit of a water guzzler at 2.5 gpm. We left the flow restrictor in as pressure seems good but it can easily be removed if you are unsatisfied with the pressure. Our old fixture was 2 gpm so I'll be curious to see if we notice an increase in our water bill. We just installed this yesterday so I can't speak to longevity but at approximately $25, even if this only lasts for a couple of years before the chrome starts to wear or it becomes leaky, I'd be okay with that. We bought this to replace a much more expensive Delta fixture with no variable settings that really only lasted about three years before it needed replacement. Although the instructions indicate that plumber's tape may not be needed, they do include some just in case and we always use a very small amount (one wrap) in installations like this. Please note, the plumber's tape they include is not of high quality and very difficult to use so plan to have and use your own. It's very inexpensive at any hardware store. You can even pick some up at the grocery store if need be. This is not, in my opinion, a reason not to buy this shower head. The only other thing to be aware of is that larger shower heads that border on being rain shower heads do tend to hold quite a bit of water after the shower is turned off. There is nothing wrong with the fixture if it drips a small amount of water for a minute - it's just draining. If anything significant changes going forward, I'll edit my review accordingly.

Best shower head for the price! Full, heavy spray while still utilizing a water saving internal device.

This is an oversized shower head that covers a lot of area,while providing the best water pressure I've had since moving into my co-op over fifteen years ago.Feels great to enjoy a normal shower again.Highly recommend.

Great shower head and have told family members about it. I have purchased other ones before this one but this beats them out by far. I recommend this to everyone.

Our water pressure was pretty pathetic with our basic showerhead. This new high pressure head gave us a better look and better pressure in the shower. I love it! And it was super easy to install.
