This case protected my Switch during a rollover bicycle crash. I wrecked by bike, rolled over onto my backpack with this case and Switch inside, and the case was perfectly fine. I like the slim fit and it has a durable shell that looks great.

Slim with storage for a few games. I feel a portable case should be as slim as possible while being protective and this fits the bill. Price was fair and I have had no problems after months of use.

Had this case for 6 months now and I got to say it still looks good as new. No fading, no scratches, it is kind of costly but it’s an investment to protect you high value item. The case is hard and I’ve dropped it a couple times about a feet of distance from floor but don’t drop your things lol. I like the colors on it as I chose the black case. It has lots of storage for extra gars and it just looks really nice and feels nice. Definitely invest in this item if you don’t mind the price.

This case is phenomenal i see a lot of bad reviews saying it doesn’t fit right or the the zipper is to hard to zip but ive had no issue with either of those thing, the case is nice and slim and with the hard case it feels very high quality i noticed some people saying that there is a little pillow inside of the case at the top and that if u set it in the pillow pushes up on the top of the switch making it hard to close but in reality the top of your switch is supposed to to go under that pillow to prevent it from moving around in the case ,i highly recommend this case fits very snug and safe

I love these cases! They are not bulky, yet still have room to store game cards and keep our switches safe when we're out and about. We got the iris purple and ocean blue colors and they are so pretty!

The case has a nice rugged material with texture. The green coloring I chose is fantastic to me. The handle becomes a wrist strap which nice, but not the most practical since I think the whole thing gets a bit heavy for that. The slim profile is great, so if you’re going for portable this is certainly high on the list. It even fits my switch 2 with detachable grip on it! Honestly, it’s a good buy that would be perfect if it was priced a little more competitively. You are paying near double or more for this case than other, cheaper, well reviewed basic switch cases that offer more room. But the case is niche, well built, and looks nice so I’m keeping it for sure. Just depends on your purchase standards.

This is the first case I’ve gotten for my switch 2. The case has a soft interior and a sturdy exterior material. There is enough room between the case and the joysticks/buttons that there won’t be any accidental clicking. It has a good feeling to it and is lightweight. I’d highly recommend this case when it’s on sale.

With the Switch 2 already on the larger side, I wanted a slim case to use when traveling. I had a hard time finding a case that fit the bill (tried 4-5 different cases). Many have a large compartment on the top that fit joycons and cables, adding excess bulk. Some of the slimmer cases didn’t fit the Switch 2 very well and I was worried the buttons would be pressed in the case. The tomtoc case has a super hard shell so when I pack it I won’t have to worry about anything getting damaged. (As a bonus, I waited for this color to be in stock and it’s so pretty! The grey zipper, strap and silver hardware just look amazing.) Zippers are sturdy and move smoothly. The Switch 2 fits snugly in the case yet here is room around all the buttons so they won’t be damaged or pressed when inside the case. There’s a small pad that helps keep the Switch 2 in place which I thought was odd at first but think it’s to help ensure that the shoulder buttons are not going to bump or be pressed while in the case. The fabric that touches the screen has a soft velvety feel and shouldn’t scratch the screen. It’s also a bit padded for some extra protection. There’s space from 12 games which is more than enough for me when I travel. Another nice detail is that the strap is convertible. You can unhook if you prefer a wrist strap or maybe want to connect it to another bag or strap for some extra security.

Excellent quality case from Tomtoc. Internal material is super soft and feels amazing, my switch will be well protected from scratches. Lots of different colour combinations, I went with Sesame which is a Black/Grey Case with Red Accents. 12 game card slot flap for games, other side is even softer than the case lining, I have a screen protector on my switch but if you don’t it should be well protected from scratches. There were a few complaints that the switch doesn’t sit all the way to the top and they have put a bumper in, also that it is tight to close. I didn’t find this at all and actually the bumper stops the trigger buttons from hitting the top of the case and also makes it a snug fit inside. I didn’t experience any issues when closing it to zip it up in terms that was bulky or didn’t fit. The zips are great quality and the handle is ok. Would recommend if you just want to carry your switch and some games, if you want to carry accessories like, charger, cables etc don’t buy this case then complain as it’s really only designed for just the console.

TL;DR: An excellent case for the Switch 2 that’s slim and fits almost every bag that the console will fit into. Nintendo’s case has a softer shell, which led to buttons being pressed and joysticks being pushed when placed in a backpack. Tomtoc’s version is a hard-shelled case and has no such problems. This case also has contours for the joysticks and the buttons, which helps it shed a lot of thickness. It’s barely a centimetre thicker than the Switch 2 itself. Add to that the 12 Game Cards that you can carry with this, which makes this a really good deal.
