This is a great add to the pool bag! I love that I can add any sunscreen that I want to it! It goes on easy and rubs in as you roll. I will say that it doesn’t fully rub in though. So I still find myself using my hands a little bit but it does a bulk of the work and the kids have not complained at all when they used to fuss at getting their face sunscreen on. The ball does get stuck sometimes but I just use my hand to release it without getting a ton of sunscreen on my hand. Easy to throw in the bag. My older kids like to do it themselves. Reapplying is so easy. I will say I’ve only used it at the pool so have not dealt with sand yet so cannot speak to beach use or reapplication after sand.

SAND GETS STUCK! We bought this for a beach vacation and sand got stuck in the crevises and would stop rolling. It worked well when it was clean. I had to keep taking the sand out and try to roll the ball by my hand. Good idea, poor execution!

I hate the feeling of my kids mineral sunscreen on my hands and this makes it so easy to apply. I have a different one from a few years ago and the foam just fell out so I was able to order the replacement part I needed which was amazing. I just ordered this one as a second applicator because I have 3 young children. This is one of my favorite products for summer.

I really love this applicator. Great to use on golf course. My only negative would be if the sponge around the roller deteriorates and seeing the instruction to not keep the sunscreen in the container for long periods of time. I didn’t expect to have to empty the applicator and clean it frequently.
