How do I open it? Lol, I am dying to try it, but can’t figure out how to get it open.

In theory it should open like a compact. In reality it is extremely difficult to pop it open. I broke my nail trying. I'm going to store it in a baggie with the lid open. Love the product, but next time I'll buy it in stick form.

Which is more useful? The stick or compact?

My wife uses both and loves them both. She keeps a compact in her purse, car, nightstand and bathroom. The stick (she's narrating as I type) has a glitter shine in it and the compact balm does not. She said she uses them both on her lips, eyebrows and under eyes. She said the stick is, in her opinion, a bit more moisturizing but again has a glitter shine in it. Hope that helps!
