Highly effective and saves 10x its cost in dry cleaning bills
This is a wonderful product and as long as they don't change it, they have a customer for life. I recently started wearing a lot more cashmere and merino wool cardigans, pullovers, and t-shirts. Where I live, dry cleaning costs $15–25/each for garments like that, so that could get expensive fast. Now, one of the ideas behind wearing high-quality cashmere and merino is that they're naturally odor-resistant, and I've found that to be true—but everything has its limit, and eventually needs to be cleaned. I dislike laundry care products that are scented. And most of the sprays that would safely freshen wool products are scented, which just feels like it's masking the odor. HEX is different. As far as I can tell, there's no scent at all except for a slight chemical smell when first applied. That fades as it dries and what you're left with is a garment that doesn't smell like anything at all, including any body odor. I turn my garments inside out and use a drying rack to spray them on both sides, paying special attention to the underarm areas. Then I leave them on the rack to dry—they're perfect by the next morning. At $20/bottle, HEX isn't cheap, but on the other hand, that's about the same as a single dry cleaning of a single garment. I've sprayed about eight garments with my current 22-ounce bottle and suspect it has enough for another two or three, so that works out to about $2/garment. That's a heck of a savings.

It really works
It really works, what else can I say? I had a cotton T-shirt that I recently washed, but when I put it on I was overwhelmed by funk. I was surprised, because it is normally the synthetics that trap odors, and that is what I bought the HEX spray for. I sprayed the T-shirt lightly and hung it up. By the end of the day it smelled completely normal--no bad odor and no cover-up scent from the HEX spray. Truly remarkable.

It does work if you use regularly
I was skeptical until I used it a few days in a row. I sprayed this all over the inside of some leather boots, and inside some sneakers until the linings felt a little damp. I did this the night before I was going to wear the boots. The spray has a scent, but it's not unpleasant and not overwhelming at all. The next morning, the boots were still stinky, but now the smell mixed with the scent of the spray. Not good. I was not impressed. I decided to keep spraying the boots and sneakers each night though and give it more time to work. After about 3 nights of spraying this in these same boots, the bad boot odor was gone. This spray worked! Now that the odor was mostly gone, I made it a routine to spray the boots and shoes after each wearing. This routine seemed to be the winning combo. No more embarrassing stink! So bottom line: This does work, but it might take several sprays for it to do it's thing and really start working. I would buy this again.

Works on old set in odors
I am shocked at how well this spray worked on my old hiking hoodie that is used for many months out of the year and even with sanitizing it still smelled of B.O. I used this spray on the armpits of the hoodie, let it dry completely and did another round. It’s like it’s never been worn!!!! I’m amazed that it got out years worth of stuck B.O, I thought I’d have to toss the hoodie but nope!! This is a must have spray. I recommend giving it a couple rounds to properly eliminate odors. Overall I’m very impressed, and the unscented is truly unscented.

Would look around for another solution
The spray is good, I used it for my work boots, which are used for 12hrs a day from on to off, and the spray really didnt do anything, the bottle leaks when you pray it down the nozzle, and it doesn't get rid of any smell, its just takes the smell and adds a "fresher" smell which i personally think made it 100× worse, all in all i wouldn't recommend and would try to find another product.

If it can stand up to size 13 tennis shoes, it can do ANYTHING!!!
My 17 year old son plays tennis full-time. It's hot. He goes through 3 or 4 pair of shoes daily. They come home soaked with sweat, and they smell to high heaven. We started using the HEX detergent about a year ago and decided that it bordered on miraculous. So when I saw that they came out with a deodorizing spray, I HAD to try it. We have, in the past, tried all manner of lysol, febreze, vinegar, essential oils, prayer, lucky charms, everything short of burning the shoes to get rid of the stink and NOTHING worked. In fact, I made him keep his shoes in the garage or outside it was so bad. Now, with a few sprays of HEX and an hour in the sun (to help dry them out) the shoes don't smell bad anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to shove my nose deep into the recesses of his Nikes to see if there is still an aroma, but they can sit inside the shoe basket in the foyer and not cause people to wonder if something had died under the stairs. Additionally, the scent is absolutely DELICIOUS!! It's almost like fresh pear. My son and I agreed that it's almost like catnip. I actually LIKE the way this stuff smells, unlike everything else we have tried where the best we could say was..... "Well, it's better than the shoe smell." Yes, it's expensive. Yes, the bottles are small. But darn it all, this stuff WORKS!!

A great product that works.
I think all the other reviews pretty much got it right that this is a great product. It smells good and this is my second purchase people at work love it. I drive a truck. I spray the seats. I spray it in my car. I definitely sprayed on my clothes And I brought it for my shoes, which was a very big problem and it is now solved. I just hope they don’t change the formula to make this cheap. If they have to raise the price people would buy something that actually works.

one bottle leaked during shipment
One of the two bottles wasn't capped tightly enough and the entire contents had leaked by the time the shipment arrived. That said the company was awesome and refunded me for the bottle. The other spray bottle works well as does the spray (my son's sneakers are definitely less stinky!) But I would have rather liked to have two bottles of the stuff.

Very impressed - Fixed boxing glove smell
I'm meticulous at cleaning my boxing gloves, but I had a pair of Venums with really bad ventilation that after 18 months of heavy use had began to smell. I use glove deodorizers already (the ones you stuff in to dry out faster) and usually they get rid of any hint of smell, but this was smell wouldn't go away. I tried alcohol based cleaners, vinegar mixtures, even leaving them in the sun on a hot day to dry out. There was always a very slight bad smell, that I didn't want to get worse. Long story short, used this spray, maybe 3 squirts right into the gloves, a few more on a microfibre cloth, wiped it around. 20 mins later the smell was 95% gone, I couldn't believe it. Another few more sprays and it's not only gone but now just smells nice. Bare in mind, I've experienced some training partners who have disgusting gloves that you can smell when they even jab near you. Mine were only bad when you really sniffed and squeezed the foam, so if your gloves are reeeally bad, im not sure if this can save them, but it might save your next pair from getting bad quickly... This product probably saved me from getting new gloves, as if it got worse I'd probably stop using them. The "fresh and clean" scent is also very mild, which is something that turned me off buying other products. It has maybe a laundry power smell with slight citrus smell
