4PCS Ba15d Led Bulb 120v, 5 Watt Daylight White 6000K for Sewing Machine

I got this for my vintage Singer 201 sewing machine, hoping that it wouldn't be too long since some of the LED lights are. These are in fact the same length as the incandescent bulbs, so it fit with room to spare. The light is considerably brighter than the incandescent was, and the daylight color is really nice to have when sewing! They should fit any sewing machine (or other item) that fit a standard incandescent bulb of this type. If I have any problems with the bulbs I will update this review, but for now they are a solid five stars. Update: the one in my Singer 201 has gotten a lot of use and has held up well so far. I just installed another bulb in my Singer 401A and it also fit and works great. The brightness and color made it much easier to sew my jelly roll rug! I've attached a pic of it installed. Update 2: Just got a 301A and installed another one of these bulbs. Fits/works great. All bulbs are still working as expected. Update 3: Tried one in my Featherweight and it works great. Update 4: also works great in an Elna SU and Singer 401. I have yet to come across a machine that accepts this type of bulb that this hasn't worked great in.

These are what I use to replace old incandescent bulbs. They are a true color and provide more light.

These bulbs fit perfectly in my 1963 Sears Kenmore sewing machine. They emit a bright white light that makes it much easier to see what I'm doing.

Very good bulbs for Pfaff 1222 sewing machines not good for Bernina. At least not good for the Bernina 930 or 910 record models they use a longer bulb so all the light is just shinning inside instead of down.Just check your bulb to see how long it is before ordering.This led bulb is 2 inches my Pfaff is 2-1/4 inches but it works well. Bernina bulb is 2-1/2 inches long but the led doesn,t work well.

I purchased these bulbs for a Singer Model 201-1 built in the 1940's that my mom got as a high school graduation present. (Mom gave the machine to my wife a few years ago when she could no longer sew.) I selected the "cool" (a white to almost blue) 6,000K light rather than the warm or yellow-brown 3,000K bulb. The main reason I chose these bulbs over others because of the larger light output of 500 lumens rather than the 300 lumens typical of most of these LED replacement bulbs. I am most pleased. The bulbs do produce a bright, white light. It is nice that the LED bulbs put out so much lower heat than the old incandescent bulbs; the incandescent bulbs would burn you if you accidentally brushed against them. I am very pleased with these bulbs. The bulb installed easily and was a perfect fit. Since LED bulb life is VERY long (the Amazon listing says these bulbs should last 30,000 hours), I don't know what I am going to do with 4 bulbs, but I guess my great-great grandchildren may need them 100 years from now if the sewing machine is still around :^)
