1. Make sure to know your door design BEFORE you order this item. You will lose the $6 shipping cost if you want to return the item. I didn’t think of that. My 2018 Subaru Forester has the loop on the frame where you would hook this item way too high to allow it to be useful to me.2. The item is sturdy and well made. They provided foam stickies to put on so that when you use it, you won’t scratch your paint. That was a great idea.

Product works well for my Toyota Highlander. It should work for all vehicles that use the Ubolt on the door. A padded strip comes with the product to keep the product from scratching the door frame.

I ordered a similar item previously that came with a molded, rubber bumper that went up against the vehicle paint. This one has 2 pieces of stick on foam. Returned this one and re-ordered the other (it was out of stock, previously).

I wish that Amazon would let me give this product half a star or less or help me find the developer to give them a swift kick in the ***! I had high hopes with this product and it seemed like a good idea to use when I was washing my truck to aid me in getting access the middle of my roof. I set it up and stepped LIGHTLY on it once and it dented my door jam (see pictures) I'm not even a heavy guy (180 lbs. on a good day) and I wasn't even bouncing on the step. I even used the protective adhesive cushion that it came with. Anyway, buyers beware. It seems like a good product and idea but it's absolutely junk and will damage your vehicle.

Outstanding heavy duty product. Comes in a nice pouch for storage, with a concise instruction sheet. It works very well and allows good access to the roof.
