Thank you for asking about our railway items, Hape railway tracks and trains are designed to be interchangeable with each other, they are also compatible with many of our competitors.

Q: Does it come with a track?

No it doesn't come with a track. I was disappointed, I had to buy a track separate.

Q: Will this fit on the older Thomas the train wooden track?

I did not initially purchase Thomas trains but this runs on the wooden tracks I bought about 6 years ago for an Ele Toy train set. You might check the dimensions and/or width of the train, as there are smaller versions.

This train is made of plastics (ABS, TPE, POM, PE), iron and a magnet.
