Golf Smooth Swing, Blue, Large (20325)

For years I have bought various golf training aids which worked with varying degrees of success. I bought this on a whim, never thinking it would work. I was completely wrong and this has been THE most successful aid I've ever used. Forces you to use your complete body for the swing and its become really effortless and smooth. My ball striking is the best its ever been and I really feel like I'm barely swinging the club. I used to torque my body so hard incorrectly and it plagued me with back issues, which are now gone using this aid. Ever since I started using this, I now get comments every time I'm out - whether on the course or the range - on how smooth my swing is. I wish I wouldn't have overlooked this simple aid for so long and bought this years ago.

This is definitely once of the greatest aids. Its not a gimmick and does instill the correct swing mechanics. It is simple and highly effective and will eliminate many problems that we are not usually aware of. I had a slight chicken wing that only the video showed. I also had a flying elbow during my back swing. Both those problems are now resolved (well mostly) and at least I am fully aware of my these two shortcomings. Another thing it does is keeps your arms from separating from your body during the swing and I was not aware of this while I was swinging. Although my mind was telling me to keep my arms close to my body, this aid definitely helped me overcome that. The result is that I'm hitting better shots due to solid ball contact, and I suspect that I'm hitting it longer when I connect. I held back one star because the edges of the elastic frayed after one day. Not that it affects the performance, but just looks bad.

Training device worked as expected

I was amazed at the effect this product has on your arms. It kept my arms close together so my arms didnt pull apart in the backswing. The great thing about it is that you can do full swings with this on your arms. I was keeping my arms together and hitting the ball properly and further than before as I was striking the ball accurately. If you have an issue keeping your arms together and tight against your body then buy this product. I was so amazed that I hit a large bucket of balls with only me irons and didnt even get to my 3 wood or driver as I was having fun using this product.

I have always had a little of a 'flying elbow' kind of like Jack Nicholas (except it worked for him and not so much for me) and this type of training aid is made to correct that. My arms seperating at the top of the swing cause me to point the club right of the target at the top of my swing (I'm right handed) which causes me to come over the top and hit pulls or fades. It also slows my clubhead speed at impact from an early release. I think that the idea is right, but the problem I have is that it slips and slides up and down my arms when I try to swing with it. I could be that I'm not doing it right or that I just haven't gotten used to it so I don't want to say it won't work for you. My other hobby is weight lifting and it could be that because my upper arms are bigger than average it causes a problem - everyone I see using this on video has smaller arms. I think that if there were a non-slip material on the inside it would be better. As with any training aid be sure that your swing flaw is addressed by the aid. I found good videos on YouTube that directed me toward this type of aid (they used an adjustable version of this that I couldn't find and might not slip).

Fantastic device. I just recieved the Izzo Smooth Swing from the States and took it to the range last night. I had forgotten I had it in my bag until half way through the session. Like many I was a bit embarrassed about putting it on at a busy range... but a few minutes later that was forgotten when I was hitting some of the longest smoothest iron shots I've ever done. I usually only hit my 7 iron 160yrds at most twice in an entire evening. After a couple minutes of duff shots to get used to the IZZO, I put 10 balls in a row out to the 160 mound! Everything just moves in unison and my swing also felt really slow and controlled, yet I was getting outstanding distance and accuracy. A total revelation. I think you need to have the good basics of a swing together though before you'll see the benefit. I'm really looking forward to using this in my practise session going forwards.

This training aid was first described by great golf player MICKEY WRIGHT in her fine book "PLAY GOLF THE WRIGHT WAY "(IZZO didn't make it the time ,it was sold by WILSON ). Very useful to force you to keep your arms extended ,both in the backswing and the throughswing and your elbows close together ,with the armpits showing "up " . You'l never have a "chicken wing " if you train with this fine device . I heartly recommend it

If you like chicken wings with your golf swing, this product is not for you. While using the Izzo band, it’s impossible for either of your arms to chicken wing out. Keeps everything moving in sync with an unexpected benefit of a smooth, even tempo swing. It’s not possible to over swing or come over the top. I’ve only had the Izzo for about two weeks, but already see improvement. When you combine the Izzo band with the ZEPP golf sensor, its like having your own personal golf coach at your side. Very highly recommended, you can’t go wrong and what do you have to loose besides some chicken wings and a bad swing. Chicken wings are delicious, but have no place in the golf swing.

Für mich war es ein nützliches Hilfsmittel. Es sitzt straf und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Gut, das ganze gäbe es auch hier und da für nen Euro oder 2 günstiger, aber für mich hats gepasst. Durch prime war es eben direkt da. Gut verpackt, das blau frischt es auf und die Qualität ist sehr gut. Hilft mir beim Schwungtraining.

Excellent item, particularly helpful with the irons

My husband likes this to stop shanking golf shots. Inexpensive compared to top brands and just as good and effective. Buy this you will not be disappointed.
