Collapsed toe area/poor packaging?
I ordered two pairs of shoes but had to return both because the toe area is collapsed probably due to poor packaging. But the collapsed area is permanent making it very uncomfortable around the toes. Too bad because otherwise they looked nice, and were comfortable (except the collapsed toe area).

Poor quality shoes
I should have listened to the others who have reported it, but the soles of my shoes also are peeling as well as the inside heel of the shoe. I’ve worn them for maybe a total of 20 hours and they are already falling apart. Xero offers a “5,000 Mile Warranty” but only if you buy for from their website, anywhere else and you are left with an expensive subpar pair of shoes.

Horrible quality for the price you pay
I’ve been a happy Xero customer for some years now. This is my 4th pair but sad to say their quality is going down compared to other brands like Vivobarefoot. For a $100+ shoe, they degrade pretty quickly even if not wearing daily. Visible wear marks on my white shoes in less than three months of use (like 3-4 times a week tops).

Substandard Materials
White part of rubber sole peeling off. Leather at base of heal collapsed. Toe cap deformation from wearing. Sounds like plastic shoes when shoe strikes pavement. Nice wide toe box and true to size. I would recommend purchasing Zero shoes. Leather Denver’s soul separated within just a few months. Other models just don’t feel like quality. I like the idea and design just not good quality for the price you pay. I own several pairs of shoes and rotate them throughout the week. I may go a week or two before wearing these for a casual day.
