Don't waste your money just by a cheap smartphone that's compatible.
I cannot in good conscience give this more than three stars. It is adequate at best. Other than the fact that it has a decent camera on the back and an extra port for your glasses this is not even remotely worth the amount of money they're charging. It looks feels and functions like a cheap smartphone with a few addons. It literally keeps asking me for a sim card because it's a repurposed smartphone that cannot do anything even close to what cheaper smartphones can do. This thing is not worth the price they're charging. I have an older smartphone that works way better. This thing doesn't offer any kind of remote desktop or any kind of desktop app like samsung dex. The home screen will not rotate to landscape mode. And as a result, it's actually really difficult to see the home screen. The operating system has much to be desired. It's just a convenient place for storing applications and games. Not worth the three hundred dollars they charge for it. It's also not compatible with the majority of augmented reality games on the game store. So what's the point. You would probably be better off just getting the power adapter and a old or cheap smartphone that's compatible. Because that's what I did. And that worked better than this. To call this thing spatial computing is an insult to the intelligence of your customers. My old beat up phone has greater functionality and works better and offers desktop mode. My old smartphone is more compatible with augmented reality applications than this supposed augmented reality device.

XREAL BEAM PRO
Just got this Xreal beam pro and it seems to be a good device to use outside of my IPhone. I am using it with my recent device Xreal one. I recommend checking out YouTube videos that will help you work out situations you are not aware of. So far l am enjoying my new product that l received this morning and it hard to put it down. Can't wait to go on road camping trip and l can see the value with l am in a long trip! It get my 5 stars for now!

Paperweight
bricked within 3 uses. Brick as in became a useless brick. Apparently this is a common issue with these. Also wasn't really excited about having to carry around a second phone either but then when it completely died and became useless after using 3 times and read other users had this issue too I just felt like not only is it a bad design but it's irresponsible for the company to even be selling these to people. I don't know anything, but that's just how I felt.

NO 3D DISPLAY - INCOMPATIBLE WITH "NORMAL" 3D TV/PHONE VIEWING OR LENTICULAR PRINTING.
I bought this as an experiment to see what "spatial 3D" is. Most people in the 3D world want a new camera like the Fuji W3, with lenses far apart, like natural human eyes are. This looked promising. It has no capability of viewing depth on the device's display.... only left and right "side-by-side" (SBS). One must buy the company's viewers (or compatible, of which there are few). The lenses, while spaced wonderfully, have characteristics that prevent the SBS images the on-board camera takes from "beaming" or otherwise displaying the images on any normal 3D-capable smartphone, tablet, projector or monitor or TV - glasses-free, with passive or active glasses. The images are worthless if one is trying to create lenticular images to print. The parallax discrepancies are too great even for the Stereophotomaker (SPM) program to correct; SPM can do wonders, but the images are for "spatial" compatible product only. Readers should ask at ChatGPT "why can't I use the Beam Pro imagery for normal 3D viewing and printing, it will provide a very detailed technical but easily understood response, form which potential buyers can make informed decisions.

Do not buy if looking for a phone. But works AMAZING AS WIFI HOTSPOT (for some reason)
Honest opinion and review you can probably skip this. I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone, a comprehensive 3-D camera and a compatible AR platform for the companion piece x-real glasses. Honestly, the 3-D effect is almost in distinguishable, possibly even not as good as the iPhone’s spatial camera. You just need to get a free app from the App Store, that converts spatial video to side-by-side and your left with the same exact result that being said on the other hand with the AR compatibility, this phone does not seem to have the processing power to offer a smooth experience. Furthermore, I had some issue even playing video formats. Some will not play at all and others will play but be extremely choppy. I literally had a far better experience with a galaxy note 8 if you can believe that Samsung phones utilize DEX mode. You can set your desktop wallpaper to a plain black screen, and all of your apps will float on screen exactly like the beam pro and you can use your Samsung phone as a touchpad to control the mouse even using the mouse functionality with the beam pro had performance issues. It is worth noting that the note 8 while worked wonderfully only supports DEX mode after a hard reset newer models of Samsung phones do not have this issue. Also, it is definitely worth noting that not even wishful thinking will allow your beam pro to operate as a phone even though it has a SIM card and full texting capability it does not have phone usage capability. I even tried using Google calls or whatever they call it and found that it was not going to work out so let me be clear. You will not be able to make calls with this device so do not buy thinking that you’re going to have a phone that can instantly transformed to an AR device it will not happen and from what I understand it will never happen. One strong positive that I can mention pertaining to the beam pro is that it actually does make an incredibly snappy Wi-Fi hotspot, possibly because of the lack of a phone functionality. It can divert all network traffic to a dedicated personal Wi-Fi hotspot assuming you have a SIM card installed this has actually replaced our home Internet and we have had no issues whatsoever. It’s extremely fast much better than my iPhone 17 Pro, which is slow and unreliable when used as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Works wonders
Works wonders, but gets hung up on things like video apps, preventing any form of action
