This dragon is incredibly detailed and beautiful, really high quality and it was perfect for my son’s 4th Smaug themed birthday. The one thing I would be aware of is that the wings are removable… this is a little bit of a con for me since I don’t want to have to keep track of more pieces and they are constantly coming off due to my sons rough playing, BUT it was a pro because you can angle the wings in different ways when it is displayed, like for his birthday cake. Either way it’s very cool and my son loves it!

Love the detailed engraving on this dragon. Colors are bright and stand out. It’s cool that Schleich makes “themed” figure collections. Bought the”fire hound” as well to go with this dragon. My only complaint would be the wings come off fairly easy so it’s a great display figure but might not be so great for a child to play with.

This dragon is an absolute hit in our house! The size is perfect for my son’s castle set — it looks epic perched on the towers and instantly levels up any medieval adventure. The sculpt and colors are impressive, with fiery red and black detailing that gives it a fierce, eye-catching presence. My son loves bringing it into battle against knights, dinosaurs, and even superheroes. It sparks so much creativity and holds up well to active play. For us, it’s a little frustrating because they come off easily and tend to vanish into the toy bin! It’s not a dealbreaker, but we’d love a sturdier attachment or a spare pair of wings just in case. Overall, a fantastic toy dragon that’s already earned a top spot in our son’s kingdom!

The kids love it! It has become a favorite toy around the house. The wings do fall out more than I would like, but it's not hard to put them back in.

Diesen Schleich Eldrador Eisdrache hat mein Sohn unter anderem zu seinem 7. Geburtstag bekommen. Er ist ein riesiger Drachen-Fan und mag die Figuren aus der Eldrador-Reihe sowieso sehr gerne – entsprechend groß war die Freude beim Auspacken. Die Figur ist wirklich sehr schön gestaltet und detailreich. Gerade die transparenten, eisartigen Flügel sehen richtig beeindruckend aus und machen den Drachen optisch zu etwas Besonderem. Auch die Verarbeitung ist typisch Schleich: sauber gefertigt, stabil und robust. Beim Spielen kann es bei uns durchaus mal etwas wilder zugehen – gerade bei Drachenkämpfen – aber die Figur hält das problemlos aus. Die Figur besteht aus Kunststoff (PVC), wie bei Schleich üblich. Das Material fühlt sich hochwertig an, ist stabil und gleichzeitig nicht zu spröde – dadurch eignet sich die Figur gut zum Spielen und nicht nur zum Sammeln. Wir haben damals etwa 19,99 € bezahlt. Aktuell ist der Drache sogar für ca. 16,49 € im Angebot, was ich für eine Schleich-Figur dieser Größe wirklich fair finde. ✔ Sehr detailreich: Besonders die transparenten Flügel sehen richtig stark aus ✔ Robuste Verarbeitung: Stabil und ideal für Kinderhände ✔ Bewegliche Elemente: Die Flügel lassen sich bewegen ✔ Beliebtes Thema: Drachen kommen bei Kindern sowieso immer gut an ❌ Preis ohne Angebot: Der reguläre Preis ist für eine einzelne Figur nicht ganz günstig – im Angebot aber absolut okay. Fazit Ein sehr schöner und stabiler Eisdrache aus der Eldrador-Reihe, der bei Kindern mit Drachen- oder Fantasy-Interesse richtig gut ankommt. Gute Verarbeitung, tolle Details und robust genug für intensives Spielen. Für Schleich-Fans definitiv eine Empfehlung.
