Work great for sensing fairly precisely when an assembly part moves into proper position, so an operator can then activate the assembly machine. Easy to setup and adjust.

I use this proximity sensor to signal if a door is locked. I mounted it so it pointed at the lock knob on the door. When the lock knob is horizontal, the, device is off. When the knob if vertical (concave surface facing sensor) the sensor is on. This set up required no special equipment or adjustments... worked right away. I like it!

I use this photo sensor in my cage/trap and it works great.

They sent me what was in the description. So far the sensors have worked well for me.

I got a panel tach that came with a magnetic pick up. I made sure to match specs (npn no) same as that one and used this instead. It works brilliantly! Best part is I use it for indoor blower speeds and you don't even have to paint the blower metal black. Just stick on the reflective tape and go! I verified accuracy with a quality tool and it is spot on, only off by .4 rpms when at 180. I have used it up to 1100 rpms and it's able to go much higher. The whole project cost me like $30.00 as I used a transformer I had kicking around and a metal box to put the components and display in, as well as a power cord.

Like? - Price! Purpose? - In a manufacturing automation environment. Stacking parts on conveyor belt verification. Also, stopping machine function if beam is interrupted etc. On third set, and third usage and they're all working perfectly.

Works perfect in my arcade machine! Little longer than the stock one but works as intended! This one requires a reflective end which was what I was trying to find! There are so many different variations to this!

Product had two receivers, and no transmitter! Completely useless without the transmit and receive pair.

I got the sensor a while back and just decided to use it for my project, as soon as i plugged it in, there is no red laser emitting from it so no reading can be read by the receiver. Too late to return now.
