I needed new linings for my bedroom curtains as the old ones were past their best and not exactly ‘blackout’. I loved the quality of these - providing a good blackout without the horrible thick plastic finish some have. They drape nicely behind the original curtains, were a good length ( about 3” shorter than the curtain) and were easy to attach, even having some free curtain hooks supplied.

Bought two pairs of blackout linings for my bedroom which have worked really wend behind existing curtains to completely block out all light from the window. Also increase heat insulation but do little for sound.They come with curtain hooks and I found it a bit fiddly to fit the linings behind the curtains with curtain hooks. The curtain hooks were quite flimsy too. If you want a super quick job you could consider using eyelet hooks instead.The linings are good quality, measured correctly and medium weight. I'm pleased with them

Delighted with these! After treating my self to some good quality heavy lined curtains I was gutted to discover they blocked out very little light cue waking up at 5 am every morning, these were easy to install and totally black out the light, finally done sleep!!

I bought these to block out the early morning light from one of my bedrooms. They were fairly easy to attach to my existing curtains and they did come with some hooks ( not nearly enough). The thing is the overall quality was not great - the side seams were not straight and the cord that you pull through to adjust the fullness was very fragile. On one of the liners the cord was actually broken half way across the curtain so I could not adjust half the curtain! I did not contact the supplier because I didn't open them for about a month! A mistake I wouldn't make again. The bottom line is if you are a light sleeper and are going spare waking up at 4 am take a risk but examine them for faults immediately. They are cheap and cheerful but if you're not too fussy and value sleep more than ascetics give them a go!October 20th: Just thought I would update as I have been using these curtain liners all through the summer. They have made a huge difference to the quality of sleep - it's so much easier to go back to sleep without that early morning sun streaming in! So after all is said and done I would buy another pair!
