ION TOOL 11” C-Clamp Locking Pliers, Large, Swivel Pads

Works ok I had to weld one side so it doesn’t shift when using. Ok for the price but not the best.

I have quite a few clamps around the house at this point but it is true....You can NEVER have too many clamps! Am I right??This one is exceptional quality for the price and enough that I am willing to write a review about a clamp...Although, I suspect there are a lot of men out there like me who secretly love their clamp collection ;)You won't go wrong here, the clamp works great, smooth operation, everything is as good or better than any clamps I have purchased locally for twice the price. The 11" clamp is extremely useful as a general size for a lot of uses and is pretty much the first one I goto for a small to medium project. Now that I've tried it out I plan ion buying a few more from here because it is an excellent bargain and I have some big things planned!!Happy clamping Folks!!

I decided to get a pair of these to test out and see if they were worth it. And honestly, they really are. If you work at home or do light duty work, these will do the trick. However, I wanted to put these to the test and after months of use in an industrial fabrication shop, they just don't quite hold up. We use name brand grips daily, and we beat them with heavy weight and very tight clamping force. The Ion Tool however can't keep up and stand the beating. The frame of the tool started to bend and the release mechanism also bent under heavy clamping force. They just won't work for these types of applications, BUT, if you are going to use them for standard work you can't compete with the price to the quality you receive. I will definitely buy more and they will be used for light to medium duty purposes only.

Works as it is supposed too. I am not using it for heavy duty. So far so good.

Well made tool; should last quite a while. The only small criticism is that the opening isquite small, considering it is an 11" clamp. 1" deeper would have made this perfect for clampingwork on my drill press. Still, it is comparable to name brand tools and about half the price...

Bought to compress calipers on a brake job, and these worked great! Good tool to keep in your toolbox as these have many more uses than just to hold 2 pieces of metal together to weld.

I was a bit hesitant at first but after I received my clap I put it to good use and there was no slipping or play in the clamp. Way better than I expected. Much better than that other overly priced blue Kreg brand.You'll save money and get a better product if you go with this brand. I will be purchasing more in the future.

Used these to help install metal roof on a carport. Got a multi set also, for close to same price, but quality of them is lower.
