Exam Ref 70-767 Implementing a SQL Data Warehouse

Decent content, but did anyone proofread this?
I haven't taken the exam yet, but the book's content seems pretty good so far. However, in the Kindle edition that I purchased, there are so many typos and grammatical mistakes that it doesn't seem like anyone proofread it. I'm not looking for perfection, I realize that this isn't great literature and that these books need to be released quickly to keep pace with the technologies, but they could certainly improve it with minimal effort. At best, the typos and mistakes are distracting, at worst, the phrasing and grammar is awkward and leaves you questioning how to interpret some of the statements.Furthermore, some of the materials (source data spreadsheets) required for the tutorials are not available on the publisher's website as stated in the book which makes it pretty much impossible to follow along with portions of the tutorials. It seems like it could be a pretty good study book, but it could certainly use some refinement.

Terrible book. I cant believe it is Microsoft press book
The authors did terrible job writing this book. It is not easy to read!!! This book need to be revised for syntax errors. Before this book I read 70-768 by Stacia Varga. HUGE difference. You guys (the authors) need to take notes.

Lukewarm impression
Many of the step-by-step procedures will not actually implement the desired results (especially in the Data Quality Services section). In general, the paragraph breaks are awkward and don't seem to flow with the topic. Many spelling/grammar mistake and a few inaccurate figures.

Source Files Not Found
The book itself is good; however, some of the source files (spreadsheets) cannot be found at the location stated in the book which makes following a long a bit difficult. This is the only reason why I gave the book 3/5 stars. If this was something minor, I might have given the book 4 stars, but given that you can't follow multiple sections, this definitely didn't deserve better than a 3.

The worst book I have ever read in my entire life
The worst book I have ever read in my entire life. The author and publisher took more than a year to release this book after MS SQL 2016 was released. And somehow they managed to release it with so many errors that I cannot continue reading, unless I want to fail the exam. Almost every page has some kind of error:- Syntax error- Semantic error- Logical errors in figures

Not great
I've been using this book to study for the 70-767 and am nearing the end of it. It's pretty bad and as the book goes on it gets worse with misspellings, errors, examples not working, etc. A lot of the information in chapters 2 and 3 are straight from the MS Docs online documentation or only slightly modified from that and in many cases the online documentation is better. It really feels like the author either had no time to put it together or he ran out of time and they just said screw it, publish it anyways. Also, I bought the Kindle edition with the 70-767 and 70-768 and was liberally copying and pasting things into OneNote and discovered that I quickly reached the publisher limit so be cognizant of that. I would not recommend this book other than it provides a structure of the skills to study and if you need some kind of structure to cover the different areas it could help. But I have no confidence that the information is a good prep for the exam.

Easy read but very poor quality.
Ive been using the Kindle version of the book and most of the content is pretty easy to follow. But as another reviewer has noted the grammar and spelling is often incorrect.Worse still ive contacted Microsoft Press errata 3 times so far today to tell them of errors in the book that make following along difficult or impossible, and I haven't even reached the end of the book yet. These include references to excel files on the Microsoft website that don't exist; practice sessions that are incomplete and have whole chunks of steps missing so you have to try to fill in the gaps yourself, and figures that have images that are mixed up from different parts of the book.I noticed similar problems with the 70-768 training book which was also crammed full of spelling/grammatical errors, including questions at the end of the chapters that were worded wrong or containing wrong answers. As this is Microsoft you would expect a higher level of quality considering these are going out with their name on them. At the very least you would expect someone to have sat down for a few hours and proof read it before releasing it to press but apparently not.

Clarifies exam topics, not for dummies
Consider it as a reminder of topics to master for the exam. Most are clearly described, with a couple of exceptions where more details or clarity would have been welcome. Nothing I couldn't tackle with some Googling. This is not a "for dummies" book, you need to be familiar with SQL, databases and data warehouse concepts as a prerequisite. This book does not contain test questions.

Administración de BI multidimensional y tabulat
Sirve para mejorar tus conocimientos de administración de BI tanto tabular como multidimensional, aunque para mi gusto en tabular se queda un poco corto.
