Monster High Deluxe Frankie Stein Costume

So far this is my favorite costume I have ever purchased for my daughter. She looked great and it was a much better quality than the monster high costumes her friends bought at wall mart. I did order it a size bigger than the size chart recomended and it fit perfectly so I would say the size chart runs a little off.

It's made well with the exception of the belt.The Lightning bolt on the belt fell off after she wore it to a Halloween party for kids the day before Halloween. Then the metal pieces started falling off after she came home. However, The rest of the outfit held up all the way through Halloween night.I can't really dock the outfit beyond 4 stars, because well it was definitely made well overall and it looks genuine. Everyone loved it, almost every house commented how much they liked the outfit, it was super cute and fit perfectly.Pros:Material - It was not scratchy and it felt comfortable, she did not complain the whole night.Right size - We were worried about the size, she is very small in the waste, but it fit just fine.Quality - It's about what I would expect from a costume maker.In-Between -Boot covers - These were iffy, they fit but they didn't. I think if her feet were just a bit bigger they would have been perfect. But I can't really call them a con, because they looked good and stayed on pretty decent all considering.Cons:Price - I always hate buying costumes, they're always overpriced in my opinion.Belt - It just was not made well, it looked awesome, but did not hold up.

The dress was perfect. Fit as expected. Received 3 stars because the shoes covers came with paper glued(or fused) to them, and had to be thrown away. Everything else was good.

This is a very nice costume! Great quality. I read the reviews before purchasing about the costumer running small however in my case the costume ran true to size so I had to return the large and purchase the medium for my daughter who wears a size girls 7. I will update my review if this is different once I receive the medium.

My daughter was so excited that I ordered this costume for her. It was sad to see her excitement turn to disappointment once we received. The colors were dull and drab and did not look as vibrant as the picture or the character. The lightening bolt on the belt fell off before she even wore it for Halloween. I ordered a size up based on the online reviews and it was way too big. Very cheaply made.

First, the actual quality of this item is good, for a $30 Halloween costume. Nothing seemed overly flimsy, and it would definitely survive several wears. I was pleasantly surprised. The sizing is strange, though. I bought the medium for my 4 year old who just started wearing 5T, thinking it would last for a few years. The dress part fits well, although the arms are too long. The tights are HUGE compared to the dress, though. I'm not entirely sure how or if they will stay up on Halloween.The main reason for one star, though, is that the costume arrived damaged. At some point before reaching my doorstep, the package was obviously subjected to high heat. The plastic package and the cardboard liners were warped. The dress was fine, but the metal "rivets" on the belt were misshapen. The real kicker (pun not intended), though, which made me return it, was that the tissue paper around the shoe covers melted onto the material. I tried to take it off and it came off in small bits and pieces. The replacement will arrive later this week, and I'll update this review when it gets here.

I bought this for my nieces and they absolutly love it.My sister said: "Everytime she looks at herself in the mirror, she smiles. Who would have thought they would like it so much?";I bought the size small for the little one (5 y.o.) and medium for the 7 y.o.They are very thin and it fits perfect. (the nylons are kind a big/loose but they didn't notice it.)I gave it 4 stars because of the belt. It is too big, you would have to adjust it. The metal details on it were rusted and the bolt fell after the first time they used but we sew it back together easilyUsing the big sister's words: "This is the best present a girl could ever have! Everybody says I'm cute. I love It."The little one just kisses me and kisses me.:)I'm buying another one for each.

This is worth the money! Well made for a one time use costume. My daughter was between sizes so she is 7 and wears a size 8 so I got a large. It fit a fine with a turtle neck and leggings underneath for warmth in Washington State. Booties are weird to walk in when you are that age and don't fit little shoes as well but we will make it work. I would buy this again and would buy from the seller again.
