AMAZING Pulls! Just Expensive!
I received MULTIPLE good cards from this, including Sephiroth, Cloud, Yshtola, etc. It is expensive but it is definitely worth it if you love Final Fantasy like I do. You are guaranteed atleast three great quality cards. The artwork they use is beautiful too, probably THE best UB set.

A Dream Set for Final Fantasy and Magic Fans
The Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy Play Booster Box exceeded my expectations. As a fan of both franchises, seeing iconic characters, locations, and artwork from the Final Fantasy series brought to life through Magic cards was an incredible experience. The attention to detail and flavor throughout the set is outstanding. Opening the packs was exciting from start to finish, with beautiful card designs, memorable references, and plenty of cards that are both fun to collect and enjoyable to play. The Play Boosters offer a great balance for players who enjoy drafting, deck building, or simply opening packs to expand their collection. The card quality and artwork are top-notch, and the crossover feels thoughtfully designed rather than gimmicky. Whether you’re a longtime Magic player, a dedicated Final Fantasy fan, or both, this booster box offers a unique and enjoyable experience that’s hard to put down. Overall, this is one of the most exciting crossover products I’ve purchased. It delivers nostalgia, great gameplay potential, and stunning collectible cards. I would highly recommend it to collectors and players alike.

Bringing two communities together (again)
If you're looking to make money off of this, then just choose another game to scalp. A lot of people reviewing this state "no money value". This is Magic: the Gathering, value dips are expected day one due to hype and early breaks showing cards. Is it worth the price (depending when you buy it)? If you're new to the game then yes, you will get cards that will help insert you in to the current power level of game play. Bringing another community to MTG is tough, but it can be done as Universe Beyond: Lord of the Rings showed what could happen even after 1/1 "The One Ring" was found. If you're a Final Fantasy fan or are familiar with the games, you will find that the cards resemble the Final Fantasy lore fairly closely, much like LotR. It's a great way to combine the two fan base and TCG gaming formats. Opening around 6 total cases (36 boxes) between LGS and Amazon, here's the break down by averages rounded down. Base cards 31 rares and 4 mythics - 3 pose cards of any rarity, 3 Ext Art/showcase, 3 ext art lands. Foils of base were less than 1 mythic and 2 rares per box. Through the Ages were 1 mythic, 3 rares, 6 uncommons (could be foil). Art cards averaged 13 per box with 17 tokens as well. Quality was good as there were a handful of cards from the same box that had slight differences in shading, especially on the white coloring on Enchantment Creature cards. Edges were good but there were tokens that were dinged on a corner but the rest of the pack was good. No ink bleeding, no mis-cut cards, no crimpling of the foil finishes. If you're looking to the best possible "value for your money" and are new to the game, it could be worth it to buy a commander deck (if this is your style of play) as most of them have a good number of valuable reprints (both monetarily and playability). If you are looking for surge foil cards, commander card inserts, or the multiple chase chocobo cards, this product does NOT have it in it. Wrapping on the boxes were loose and some even had bunching up after heat sealing. Individual pack packaging was good. They look like the crimping could be questionable but most of the packs that looked this way yielded good cards. I will always recommend to buy singles if you're been in the game for a while. If you're new to the game, this is a higher priced set than most, even "remastered" or "commander set" boxes, if not about the same. As a Final Fantasy fan I'd say dive in if you're interested in life after the Final Fantasy TCG, different style and rules but resemble one another. The artwork alone would make it worth it in my opinion. As usual, buy singles or trade first, get what you want for the money as Universe Beyond MTG sets are a bit pricey sealed product wise. Have fun and good luck!

A great set to build from
Came in quickly, well packaged and in great condition. I loved this set and got some great pulls from these boxes. Preorders do tend to take longer, so I had to wait a bit, but it was well worth it. This set is great for draft with friends, lots of synergies and tribal themes. A very OP set with quite a bit of value to boot.

Luck of the box, but fun to open
Second box I have ordered, both times patiently waiting for shipped and sold by amazon and decent price. First arrived slightly damaged but both boxes still sealed properly and legit untampered with packs. All cards in pack were in great condition and was fun to rip open each pack. Got some good card variety and the value was good with some nice pulls on both boxes. You'll get many uncommon, foils and a few Rares not worth much, but the Mythic Rares or valuable Rares may bump the value almost to or above price paid. Really cool to see this set and love most of the art. Can't get these in my town's local game stores and single packs are $7 a piece so online is my only option to get a good-sized collection.

Legit packs
packs were legit, got some good cards, got a lot of bad cards, lol. Value was pretty bad, but still enjoyed the opening. Price was ok.

The crossover nerds have been dreaming about for years
As someone who grew up with Final Fantasy and also loves cracking open Magic boosters like a gremlin hunting treasure, this set honestly feels special. The artwork alone is incredible. Seeing iconic characters, summons, weapons, and locations from across the Final Fantasy games blended into Magic mechanics has clearly been done by people who genuinely care about both franchises instead of just slapping logos together for nostalgia money. Opening the packs is dangerously addictive because there’s constantly something cool to find. Even the lower rarity cards look fantastic, and pulling the rarer alternate arts genuinely feels exciting instead of “oh cool I guess.” The mix of classic Final Fantasy references across all the mainline games is handled really well too, so it doesn’t just focus on the obvious favourites. There’s a lot here for long-time fans to spot and appreciate. The Play Boosters themselves are also a great middle ground if you actually play Magic and don’t just collect. Good for deck building, fun for casual games with friends, and still satisfying for collectors chasing rarer cards. Honestly one of the coolest crossover sets I’ve seen in years and it absolutely nailed the nostalgia hit without feeling lazy about it.

Good condition. Good pulls.
Cheaper than local game shops for me. On sale it was 30 packs for price of 20. Pulls were good. This was my 4th and 5th box and it finally got me my 1st Cloud, Vivi, Tifa and other essential cards that evaded me in my first 3 boxes, purchased at local game stores. I'll be watching for that sale again.
