Cable Matters [VESA Certified] 80Gbps DisplayPort 2.1 Cable, 6.6ft / 2m

I read a review stating this doesn't work on a 5090 gpu. I run an MSI Suprim Liquid 5090 with an ASUS ROG PG32UCDM 4k 240HZ OLED Gaming Monitor, and so far, I've had zero issues. I do hope the other buyer got his issues resolved, however.

My monitor is Alienware 39 5K OLED Gaming Monitor AW3926QW. I had tried a 2M cable from a different VESA certified brand but was experiencing full blackouts. I suspected it was the length since 80GBPS is only rated for 1M. My desktop couldn't reach with a 1M cable though so I decided to try 1.5M and it works well 90% of the time. I have some HDR handshake issues that still occur when in game, and an occasional display blink (image cuts out completely for <= 1 sec) but it's tolerable enough to have full 80GBPS and turn DSC Off on my monitor.

Well, these are marvellous - I used them on my current monitor and went from 60 FPM to 119+ FPM on the same monitor - the graphics card is better used now, and everything is clearer and sharper - next stop a better monitor. I have bought a non-VESA certified DP cable, and they are a fire risk - ruin your GPU too. Better to buy right than buy cheap, and these are under £20 - so a good mid-range price - top quality cable.
