Seemless installation and this little gizmo really added new possibilities to my Mac Mini. Lots of room now for peripherals. Installed a 1TB SSD so now also have a ton of space to help keep my Mac nice and tidy and spacious.I would recommend this to anyone wanting some more options for their Mac Mini M4. This dock works exactly as advertised. The internal NVME storage is perfect for my audio samples collection. The HDMI port is connected to my 2nd monitor. And the rubber ring inset on the top holds the Mini in place if I need to touch the computer. Highly recommended!!Note: I previously purchased a different dock, highly rated (starts with M), but the HDMI connection would not wake from sleep. Always had to restart the computer to get it recognized. It also had 2 less ports and if I touched the Mini it would slide.

Full aluminum construction. Sturdy, solid and good quality. Comes with a high speed USB-C cable to connect to host Mac mini M4. Put in a Crucial P310 2T SSD. Blackmagic disk speed test shows consistent 960 MB/s read, and 890 MB/s write speeds. Mac mini M4 wi-fi speed stays the same as before. So far, this hub meets all expectations.

Update 5/9 :The folks at Raycue reached out to me to apologize for the first response I received regarding the problems and attitude noted in my first review and to make it right they sent me a new hub. I was surprised and pleased. I appreciated this very much. Customer care is No. 1 and this reflects well on Raycue. I reconnected and all is working well. I do like that it has more options to connect than the Satechi hub. This is a good product. Thank you RayCue for your response.NOT A RECOMMENDED PURCHASE.I bought the hub on 5/29. The product that I received has an SD card reader that does not work.The SD card works on other readers. And last night the audio out stopped functioning, the hub is not being recognized as an option in the audio system settings. When I emailed RayCue customer service I was given the brush off and told to contact amazon. So I am calling Amazon today and requesting a return and refund. I am going to purchase the SATECHI hub and see how that works out.

This solved pretty much every issue I had with my desk, allowing me to hook up my second monitor, (1080p @ 240Hz) giving me more USB-A ports to work with, and expanding my storage.

The device worked for about 5 days and then it just stopped working for no reason whatsoever. None of the ports are working and the SSD drive that I installed in it is not being recognized. I tried all troubleshooting steps that I could find online. Nothing worked. Unfortunately I missed the return window by 2 days and can not return it. I attempted to contact the manufacturer and they completely ignored me. This thing is a pile of junk and will not last. Avoid this thing at all cost.

Works great with the Mac Mini M4. No screen flicker on dual monitor setup. Allows for a cleaner install. Matches perfect. Better solution over J4. Mini stays asleep. Does not routinely wake up at night.

I purchased the 990 Pro Samsung NVme.2 SSD. This is quite the combination. However, as noted in several reviews before me, with intense number computing this combination gets hot. I put them on a laptop cooling mat and that worked. Wondering, I perused Amazon and found a 120mm router cooling fan that fits perfectly.(NewHail Quiet 120mm Router Fan Cooler with L/M/H 3-Degree Speed Controller, DC 5V USB Powered Cooling Case Fan for Router Modem Receiver DVR PlayStation TV Box). All told, the mini is now raised up with the add ons, but still looks great to me. It stays cool. The combination is working for me. I needed the extra connections of disc storage.
