926-740 Front Driver Side Door Armrest Repair Fit for Chevrolet/GMC,Gray

I got a pair of these in grey for my 2013 Chevy Tahoe. They were very affordable. The color was a perfect match. There are no instructions, different models and years have different door set ups so a universal instruction would not work. Just Google a video for your vehicle. Mine had plastic “rivets” that are melted, you have to drill them out. They provide plenty of screws and washers to secure the arm rest through the holes. It was a perfect fit. My only issues were, on the driver’s side, two of the screw posts on the new arm rest did not match up with the original holes in the door. I had to drill new holes for the screws, no big deal. The other issue is the screws and washers post next to the window control on both sides sticks out to far, and if you screw it in all the way the screws will come through the arm rest. I stacked up a bunch of the extra washers but then the screw and washers interfered with and window control, so I just left those screws out. It didn’t really bother me as this is a 12 year old car and the new arm rest works just fine.

Works well, instructions were good if poorly translated. Install was more involved than I expected. You must drill out plastic rivets/welds to get the old one off. Not terrible, but you need to know your way around a drill. I would have a flap disc on an angle grinder handy as well. It matches well and looks good. Feels solid.

This solved an issue I’ve had on my Silverado that drove me nuts, broken door pull. Product is far superior to what it replaced with added metal structure. Instructions are lame though. There’s no need to remove the vapor barrier like the instructions say, just leave it. There was also no mention of what the little red tubes of liquid are for, just assume they are thread locker. I also recommend use of a larger drill bit than the instructions say. The new armrest fits very snug, take your time tightening it and tuck it into door panel as you go. Very pleased with purchase even after 1st order came missing hardware, reorder was swift and hassle free. Factory appearance and structurally superior.

This door panel handle is just what I have been waiting for. I have a 2013 chevy silverado and the fit, color, and texture match perfectly. It does not come with directions, but there are some good utube videos. I would highly recommend this door panel armrest pull handle to anyone who has a Chevy with the poorly made plastic drivers side door handle.

Looks great. Repaired driver door handle that was basically a noodle. Replaced the passenger as well.

I'd give it a 3.5 if that was an option. I installed one of these on my driver's side several years ago. It was a different brand and a different experience. The last one had more specific instructions. This time I ended up making a mistake that is on me, but be very certain which plastic rivets you drill. Reason for the 3 stars: I had to grind down the bolt on the new handle that is directly under the lock/unlock panel. It was far too long and before I realized it the lock tite had set in. I could not back the nut off to cut the bolt. I was able to use a finger grinder and grind the bolt down and get the lock/unlock panel placed. After all that the fit was decent and the color matched well. I am happy with the finished product, but it took too much to get there.
