How to know that i refill the right amount of gas? this is my first time using a blow torch, i'm a bit clueless. haha.

How long can it be used or left on lock without damaging it

I'm using mine for making copper jewellery and enamelling so it can be on for 2 or 3 mins at a time. It's very sturdy and robust - I can highly recommend it.
