this was a gift and a really nice one too. My friend uses it all the time and wears very well after 2 years looks new .

Installs well. Check the diameter of your steering wheel grip first before ordering. I especially like the appearance of the real wood. It does spin just a little off-center maybe an eighth of an inch. Still a great value for a wooden steering knob. Will buy again. Thank you.

Bought this to replace a smaller knob that uses palm pressure rather than grabbing the knob. I love it and prefer it, but my wife prefers the smaller palm pressure knob. I'm only giving 4 stars because of the quality of workmanship: 1) the knob looks nice at a distance, but close up has grooves and tiny irregular bumps, 2) the knob is not 100% vertically mounted on bearing base so has a very very slight wobble (not enough to notice when steering...not a usage problem).

Over 3 years of daily use now. Still looks like new you pay more but you get more. Went through a lot of the low quality ones before I finally got this high end wood one. Highly recommend. Buy it once and be done

Spinner appears to be genuine wood with a thickish, clear lacquered finish--looks good, and works well. Was a bit too large in diameter to fit tightly on my Kubota BX1880 tractor so mounted as follows:1. Wrap one layer of 3M Scotch Linerless Rubber Splicing tape around steering wheel (do not overlap ends) where Spinner to be mounted, and hold in place with a wrap and a half of vinyl electrical tape--position tape in a steering wheel finger depression.2. Cut the included black vinyl spacer length to just fit the lower half of the clamp, and insert in lower half of clamp.3. Center Spinner over rubber tape, and screw tight--mounted my Spinner such that it was inside the steering wheel.Using above mounting procedure the Spinner was rock solid, and smooth operating.

The spinner knob arrived on time and as advertised except that it looks nothing like what is advertised. The wood is solid and nicely formed, but plain and not grained like in the advertisement photos. The finish was poorly done and even missed in small places. The attachment fixture is strong and fit the steering wheel of my motorhome well except the rubber insert wasn't quite thick enough and I had to add another layer to get a positive grip on the wheel. The bearing is tight and smooth in operation.I would recommend this product to someone who needs to have a spinner on their wheel for control, but i would not recommend this for someone who is buying the spinner to dress up the appearance of their vehicle.

I put this on my zero turn mower with a steering wheel and it improves my comfort of mowing tremendously. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again for any other equipment that I need it for.
