These trays are awesome. Really.
I’ve fought with ice cube trays my entire life except for my five years in Florida where we had an ice maker. I find it hard to believe that I can get so excited about ice cube trays. These are FANTASTIC!! The trays are easy to fill and they’re covered. The cubes are easy to get out. The best part is that there is no need to contort the tray to get the cubes out, like shown in the picture. Just take the covered frozen ice cube tray and run cold tap water over the top and bottom. The cover pops right off. The bottom of the tray is soft and rubbery, Simply push the rubbery section of a compartment upward and usually the cube easily comes free. Sometimes it requires more force, but not much. Then just put the cover back on put the tray with remaining cubes back in the freezer. What is the life expectancy of these trays? At this price, who cares? Unlike an ice-maker, they don’t take much room. That leaves more space for ice cream.

VERY EASY TO PUSH CUBES OUT!!!
These trays are super easy to get the cubes out. I briefly run a little warm faucet water on top and it takes very little effort to push them out. I'm very happy about that. Gave 4 stars instead of 5, because the top cover is oddly a bit hard to remove when frozen. There's actually a very tiny "pull tab" on one of the top's sides. That helps, but it still feels like the plastic top might possibly crack over time. I think if I was super careful not to overfill the tray, (as it said on the enclosed product info sheet) then the top would be easier to remove. I never feel like taking the time to be that precise, though. That being said, on the plus side, the top is nice and snug and does prevent you from spilling water all over the floor when you're carrying a newly filled tray over to the freezer. Overall, a great product at a great price and I would buy it again mostly because it's just so easy pushing out the cubes!

Ideal for small refrigerators!
They are a perfect side and also has lids which is very handy and protect anything falling into the tray at any point. No leakage, easy to use, and nice and colorful.

I like these ice trays
I like the silicone bottoms and the covers. Stackable is so nice. Ice removal is easy if you follow instructions that are included. I don’t smell any odor (when I washed them). The size isn’t very large, they are a bit wider than old ice trays. Taste is normal.

Makes small cubes & lid is hard to open
With these trays you will get very small cubes. For comparison I would say about 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the ice cubes made by the automatic cube trays in your freezer. I’m okay with that but my bigger concern is the lids. Once closed they are very tricky to open. When I open one corner of the tray the corner diagonally across jams so prying it open is a challenge. As a result one of my lids broke the first time I used these trays. I’m sure it’s a matter of time before they break.
