XPETI Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots

These are very comfortable boots good looking and good value for money the grip is very good and they keep dry in the rain also they are lightweight and easy to walk in I would order 1/2 size up as I did and the fit is perfect going to order another pair whilst the price is low these are the best pair of walking boots I have ever had.

Been ex military I'm fussy about my boots. These are great in all aspects. Tough, very lightweight and waterproof also very comfortable And in my humble opinion there extremely good value. I'm getting another pair in a different colour very soon. Great for the winter weather and would make a great present for outdoor man or women in your life

I suspected these boots from China would be good boot. Very happy with them out of the box; initially they (size 13.5) were a bit tight, but I later discovered I has been pulling laces to hard (!) After a few days the material stretched and there is a much more comfortable feel now. The XPETI have been tried in a light rain shower; and I found them water-proof (there are varied accounts of waterproofing in other reviews (?). The grip is very good (and looks good as well - very rugged). Over all after about two / three weeks these are a good pair of boots for light yard work and just about comfortable to keep on all day.

Simply not waterproof- Original post vs now... Month 4 and the 1st pair of boots stitching had broken letting water in. Xpeti replaced them immediately. I didn't wear them as I had started wearing this pair I bought. 6 months on and this pair started leaking too. Contacted xpeti and no reponse. Started wearing replacement pair fro. 1st purchase and three weeks later, these leak too. Xpeti continue to be silent on what is clearly an inherent problem. These boots are great in every other way but fundamentally flawed and not fit for purpose despite their advertising saying otherwise. If I could review zero stars I would. Original review...I do not make many reviews but these boots are the best. After trying endless boot styles promising the earth and always underperformed, these boots are warm, dry and keep you from sliding in the muddy parks and woods. They are simply great. So much so that three months on (thats this pair), Ive bought a second pair as I know that when I eventually come to replace them in years to come, I won't find a boot like it.

I always buy walking boots for taking the dogs out. Over the past few years I am averaging probably a pair of boots every 9 months or so. I've tried the more expensive ones (£150+) and also the cheap end of the market (£30 or less). Previous boots have not lived up to their waterproof claims, have split or just fallen apart!! £30 every 9 months is not so bad as they are worn in all conditions and all types of terrain for about 4-5 miles every day, but more often than not the waterproofing is poor and it is no fun walking with cold wet feet. Trialling something different from an unknown brand I went for these after reading a couple of other reviews. I've also left it 4 months since my purchase to give greater perspective from my point of view. Although not the lightest of boots and on my first couple of times wearing them they did feel very stiff and unforgiving they have soon softened and I'm more used to the weight now. They have remained warm and waterproof, myself and the dogs have been on muddy walks through fields and woods, I've cleaned them in puddles and walked through ankle deep snow with not a drop of moisture on my socks. They clean up easily, have good grip and are very comfortable with the cushioned footbed. I'd happily buy another pair tomorrow but I can see these outlasting any of my previous purchases

First of all I'd like to say I do suffer with foot problems that nobody can seem to get to the bottom of, feels like peripheral neuropathy so this review is based on that. They appear to be a well made boot and are very warm. I can't comment on their waterproofness as I haven't worn them long enough. The first walk I did was 9.7 miles just around my local area on mostly concrete or hard surfaces. In hindsight I shouldn't have gone so far on my first walk in new boots! The pain underfoot was intense and even though there is good ankle support, they're too high for me and were digging into my shins creating more pain. I've tried them several times since on shorter walks with several different insoles but with the same result. TBF it's more likely to be my feet more than the boot but I'm a keen fell walker and have been for 40 odd years and I've got several pairs of boots that I try with different insoles and I can manage the pain but I'm never pain free, but these were the worst of the lot and the pain was unbearable even after resting. I really wanted these to work as they're a nice looking boot but I just can't see them working for me. I'll no doubt try them again at some point and if I can get them to work I'll update the review, but for now they're no good to me.

Had them a few months and only really wore them to break them in. This week with the wet, muddy conditions, I have worn the 4 days running. I walk for about an hour to an hour and a half in a conservation area, so the routes are a mix of grass and muddy tracks ( or occasionally foot deep water). So are they waterproof, yes it rained 2 days whilst out and my feet came back bone dry. Grip is excellent even on uneven muddy ground. Comfortable, yes, but I did have to break them in as I wasn't used to the amount of ankle support (my last boots only just came up to the ankle). Durability....... Will have to wait and see.

Bought these during the recent rainy downpours, to try and keep my feet dry. Walk the dog three times each day and the boots have kept my feet dry and warm. Comfortable too and look great!
