Compact, Functional Switch for My DIY Speaker Box I used this 5-wire switch in a custom Bluetooth speaker box powered by a Makita 18V battery, and it worked perfectly. The compact size made it easy to mount in the case without taking up much space, and the pre-labeled wires saved time during the wiring process. The switch gives me clean control over power and lighting, and the built-in LED indicator is a nice touch for letting me know when the system is active. It feels solid when toggled—definitely not flimsy like some other small switches. Great little component for DIY builds, whether you’re doing audio, RC, or battery-powered projects. I’d definitely use this again.

It is a little smaller than I expected, but it definitely worked very well for a radio. The wiring was not hard to figure out, especially if you have some prior knowledge about wiring. My only complaint is that they didn’t have different sizes when I ordered.

Following the diagram to wire the button on the listing didn’t work, so I had to trouble shoot. Nonetheless Green is constant positive, black is constant negative, red and yellow is switch

This switch is top of the line, and I am using it for a Powerwheels modification with lights and strobes. The most difficult part of this was figuring out the wiring. It seems as though their pictures are wrong, and no one has felt the need to help others buying this yet. So I will leave the wiring diagram. You’re welcome, and I wish I had it 2 hours ago! Great switch, no instructions (common for these types of switches).

This is a push button switch with an indicator (I bought a red one) and premium look and feel. Being a fan of mechanical keyboards and all things tactile, I like the feeling when I press it, and it makes a quiet but nice click sound, too. It has a connector with 5 wires: black and red goes to an indicator (which, interestingly, works fine from any voltage within 2V to 20V range, see photos, so you can use it for 5V or in a car), and green is connected to yellow when on, or to white when off. Possible uses are in a car or a motorcycle (although it is barely big enough to be conveniently operated while wearing motorcycle gloves -- yes I have tested that, see a photo, but YMMV), or for some high end DIY amplifier. Oh, the hole for it needs to be 5/8" or 16 mm.

Used this switch to install a circuit for the GPS on my enduro. The switch was very easy to install with the locking disconnect. The quality of the push button feels mechanically very solid with each press. I needed a low-profile locking on/off switch. The cool LED is bonus. I can see when it has been left on and it keeps the GPS from draining the small battery on the motorcycle. Requires a 5/8" hole. You must get it exactly the right size and clean. There is very little tolerance for error. If the hole is only slightly too big it will pull through.

Thank you Josh Coffey for a functional schematic. Read the reviews 4* and below before you purchase it. My white wire did nothing at all so that was pretty funny and the wire colors don't match the standard for negative black red positive. The switch functions do not match the print at all. After setting it up per Josh it works. Hopefully for a while.

Not cheaply made like a lot of products. This thing feels like it will last a lifetime. Very pleased. The seal seems to work great too. Fits snug. (Drilled a 1/4in hole in a bucket for it)
