Dreamegg White Noise Machine, D1 Sleep Sound Machine with Night Light for Baby Kid Adult, 24 Natural Sounds Therapy, Continuous or Timer, Sound Machine for Sleeping Nursery Office Travel Gift

I’m someone who is really sensitive to sounds, many times I get irritated and annoyed, like I hate listening to something from my iPhone or laptop speaker, and stuff like that. I’ve tried/heard several different sound machines and nothing compares to this one. It has a depth to the sound, and it doesn't sound high-pitched or static-y. It has an excellent depth and bass to the sound which is awesome. There’s tons of different options for: white noise, music, nature, volume, nightlight, usb plug. It’s perfect. I bought it in 2019 and it’s 2023 now and I’m still using the same one with my daughter. If it broke, I would need to buy it again. We bring it when we go travelling too, so it’s fairly portable. It helps us both sleep better and drowns out any other noises in the house. If anyone asks me about helping the baby sleep or a good noise machine I show them this product lol UPDATE: it’s Sept 2026, it still works great and still a great product!!

Really good

The sounds are extremely low quality. You're better off just getting a better quality speaker and hooking your phone up to it. I can see this been useful if you have children, but other than that it's pointless.

I really enjoy noise machines for background noise to sleep. I bought this one based on reviews for the machine and the company, and I was really pleased. It has a lot of different sounds to play (nature, 'white noise', as well as fan noises), based on 30, 60 or 90 minute timers, or a continuous playing option. There's so many different options to play; I personally like water sounds as they're pretty peaceful. This would also probably be good for a baby as there are a couple lullabies and even a heartbeat sound. There's a 'nightlight' capability with the one I got (the black machine); I don't really use it or like it but I think it'd be good for those looking for that option and you can easily turn it on or off. My only thing, though it could just be me, is the sound quality itself in that I find the sound rather than the volume is slightly 'heavy', if that makes any sense, so I just turn the volume down a little more. My boyfriend isn't picky and doesn't hear any issues though so he doesn't mind if I use the machine to sleep and I think he enjoys it (he likes the fireplace sound). I do use it every night before going to bed for 30 minutes, during naps, and I'll put it on if ever I wake up in the middle of the night to help sleep. It's very easy to use and the machine itself seems very sturdy/durable. It has a great smaller size so it seems ideal for travel. I would recommend to anyone looking for a noise machine for background sound.

First off I want to commend the Dreamegg customer service. I received a defective unit, the volume was stuck at maximum which was not idea for a small room near your head but all other buttons worked fine. I contacted customer support that was linked in the manual. Basically they contacted me within the day and I had a new one in my hands a day or two later! no hassle (Other than providing a short video showing the issue). I like the look and size of this device, the sound has much more bass than you would think which is cool, makes for a warmer sound. PROS: Great size, decent quality feel, nice warm sound, lots of choices, remembers your setting when you turn it off, has a decent volume range, CONS: One or two of the fan sounds have a noticeable loop in them but there are many other choices so that is not really an issue. There are two musical choices but would be nice if the music was more loop-able, it comes to a resolution before pausing and starting again, there could have been a more creative way to keep it going if desired. has a USB with adapter style plug, but it sticks out the end which makes it stick out from the wall quite a bit.. something with a lower profile would be nice when you have an outlet behind a piece of furniture. All cons are pretty minimal, overall very please with the unit and also with the service received :)
