can you use this to take scratches out of glass?

Yes, this diamond polishing paste can remove scratches from glass. I would use 14,000 grit or 40,000 grit with polishing wheel on a dremel tool. The process will not be quick especially if the scratch is deep.

Is this like with thermal paste we get a tiny bit of paste in a laege tube but with the plunger almost all the way in?

I would say no. Since i have ordered this product and used this product. The syringes you get are pulled almost to the very top and the paste is there. Push the plunger and you get a little bit out. You still have more to use. As far as i can tell from what i have used, plungers are full almost to the top. For me was good value for the money.

can this be used for final polish on a sapphire, ruby type gemstone?

For your project, I would recommend you to use some professional power tools like a faceting machine with a diamond polishing disc instead of using diamond polishing paste for a better result.

Excellent polishing compound for soapstone carvings

I purchased this at full price, and have not received any discount/incentive for my review.I sell hand-crafted, carved soapstone cufflinks on Etsy. Because soapstone is soft and porous, I have been struggling to find the right material to use that will allow me to polish my pieces to a high sheen. I’ve used paste waxes, high-grit buffing pads, and compound sticks with mixed results. This diamond compound has been a game changer, and I’m finally able to polish my stones to a glossy finish. The syringes allow for precise, no mess applications with little waste. I’m thrilled to have found this product, and recommend it highly.
