I prefer a velcro band. I searched on Amazon and Ebay with no luck. One day in Walmart I spotted one I liked, the girl put it on. All for $8. Love it.

How does this feel against the wrist? Most watches I've tried have always made my wrist sore after a few days of wear.

Depends how tight you put it on. Just wear it snugly and you'll be fine. I used to wear watches that would give me an allergic reaction. This one doesn't and I have been wearing it every day. The material feels nice and soft.
