Perfect last-minute vacation purchase!
Just before leaving on my summer vacation I searched all of amazon for a travel plug adapter to keep my digital camera and our 2 cellphones functional for 2 weeks while traveling through Norway, Scotland and Ireland. Since I needed both UK and European adapters I needed a "multi" adapter. I am a thorough and fussy purchaser and after MUCH product comparison and customer review browsing I opted for this little gadget. It arrived within the time stated and I was already happy with the compact size and light weight. I charged my phone as a basic test, using the "US" standard plug and crossed my fingers the others would work because I had no real way to test them... Happily, it worked like a charm! Besides being compact and lightweight, other reasons I opted for this adapter were: no small pieces to snap on for conversions (hence, no possible lost pieces, either), and the price was so reasonable - especially since it covered Europe, UK, Australia, and just about anywhere else I might eventually trek to :-) It's actually pretty ingenious how the slides and pop-open features use different sides of the cube for each plug type, and still remains a flat-sided cube when all is collapsed. I will address two drawbacks I saw people mentioned when I read the customer reviews: >One was the blue light. It might be bright but you'd have to be a pretty sensitive sleeper for it to keep you awake. Blue is much better than some colors and how hard is it to put a piece of tape or something over it if you're one of the few who would be that bothered by it? I found it to be an advantage because blue was more noticeable in daylight and I was certainly less likely to forget it while packing! >The other was that, depending on the direction of the outlet and the weight of the object attached to it (for instance, a battery charger pack) the charger plugs could pull out of the socket in the 2-prong Europe setting. Although I didn't experience the unit pulling out of the socket I did notice it leaned from the weight of my camera charger pack in 1 or 2 of the European hotels (we stayed in a different hotel nearly every night, except in Norway). To be safe, I supported it with something underneath it, though it may not have been necessary, and I found it to be the slightest of inconveniences. This was, by far, my best pre-trip purchase. I loved it and would absolutely recommend this charger adapter!

Exactly what was needed
Got this to provide power in Greece. It works very well, and the lighted USB ports are excellent too. Used it to keep my tablet, battery packs, and cell phone all charged up, and provided a thru for my CPAP machine. The white push button on one side assures the plugs do not retract until you want them too, and I found the fit adequate (it never fell out of the plug). The only problem I had was with certain hotel power lamps, where the AC plug is unusable due to the size of this power cube (the same problem seen with some Mac laptop chargers). That is not really the cubes problem, but it can be an issue in use. Also the text on the cube to identify the particular plug is pretty hard to read, being black and small on dark blue (white on blue would be much better). But it served me well, and having 4 lighted usb ports all in one place was very convenient. No regrets on this purchase.

No worries if you have the “right” plug, because they are all in this one unit
When you have this adapter, you don’t have to worry if you brought the “right” plug, because they are all in this one unit. This compact unit replaces all those bulky plugs and simplifies packing when traveling to several foreign countries. This was a relief when traveling to counties that might have multiple plug shapes. The two USB hubs allows charging of electronics without using a plug outlet. I also really liked that this adapter could be used with non US, meaning a friend visiting the US could use this adapter for their electronics in the US. Don’t confuse this as a converter, which changes voltage for higher wattage appliances that heat up, (It’s better to buy a travel curling iron, hair dryer, etc) but it works perfectly for computers, clocks, sound machines.

Pretty good--however.
This adapter works well. Surprisingly annoying feature, though: There's a blue indicator light that lights up when your adapter is plugged in. OK, so what? you say. Sounds like a nice feature! Well it isn't. The light is crazy, crazy bright. If you try to sleep in a dark room like I do, it will keep you awake. It's like a flashlight, no joke! In hotel rooms, I shared with friends and in hostel rooms when I was backpacking, I always felt guilty about plugging it in. In my hostel, other people would unplug it because it kept them up. I ended up covering it with dark paper and tape, which only sort of worked. If you don't plug it in in your bedroom, or don't care about light levels, I'd definitely recommend it. Otherwise? Better get something to cover up that light.

Essential for travel.
This is the BEST quality travel adapter we’ve ever had, and we travel internationally a lot. The way the different plugs slide in and out of the bag makes this a very handy adapter that takes up minimal space. We also love the four USB ports on the side. We can plug in nearly everything we need. Haven’t noticed a noise coming from it but it DOES have a light at the USBs. This light is either convenient or annoying, depending on how you feel about lights at night. Some people find them convenient so you know where the charger is. Others prefer a completely dark room for sleeping. It’s up to you, but the convenience of this thing can’t be beat. Excellent power level/charge speed too.

Used this in Egypt and Jordan. Worked Great!
I used this when I travelled to all over Egypt and Jordan. It worked great and had no issues. The only thing was that sometimes it was a little loose when I plugged it in and I would have to prop it up, but I don't know if that's because of the design of the charger or the design of the outlets where I stayed. But it charged great and I can't wait to use it in other countries. It's compact and travel friendly.

This was the perfect plug for all of our American devices
We were on a Viking River Cruise recently on the Elbe River in Germany. This was the perfect plug for all of our American devices. It is good to have only one travel plug that does multiple tasks. I found that I had to push quite hard to get my curling iron plug into the appropriate slot. Once I realized that I wasn't breaking anything, it was no longer a concern. Liked that we could charge phones, kindles, etc and yet also use it for curling irons, razors, etc. at the same time. As long as the device you are using indicates 120V/240V (as most newer electonics indicate), a converter is not needed as the conversion takes place automatically.

Good, versatile adapter - could benefit from ground prong
This worked well, but could be better if it included a ground prong. In two of the locations I used the European plug, my laptop had an electrical current Buzz that you could feel by touching it, as did my phone. This may have been from the wall plug and not this adapter as my last location did not have those issue, although I wonder whether a ground prong might have eliminated this issue. Otherwise, the four USB ports are awesome.
