Taal Convertible Tote

I love this bag! It has so much room. The inside is split into 2 compartments. The back compartment has a separate zippered pocket in addition to the main space. The front compartment has a water bottle holder, which is great because I usually carry water with me. Note this fits my normal size water bottle great, but it may not hold a super wide bottle. There is another zippered pocket on the front of the bag, making a total of 4 storage spaces plus a water bottle holder. I like being able to organize my stuff into different spaces so this is great. I think the bag is very comfortable messenger style. The backpack style is a nice option, although as other reviewers have noted it sits a little differently than a normal backpack. I still find it very useful. I think it’s really great the company gives its employees creative license in picking bag colors. That being said, I was really nervous about what colors I would get. I considered ordering off their website where you can pick the exact bag you want. But where’s the fun in that? I was happily surprised. The main part of my bag on the front is blue (my favorite color). The top on the front is a subdued red. The back is all green. The sides and bottom are red, black, and teal, respectively. These are the type of colors I would have picked. So the surprise worked out for me, but if I had received a pink, yellow, and orange bag, I probably wouldn’t have been as happy. So keep in mind when ordering there are a wide range of colors you could get. Side note - the material seems durable and like it’ll be easy to clean, which is good because I have kids. This bag is big enough that I could probably use it to pack for a weekend trip (note - I haven’t tried this yet). But even though the bag is big it isn’t bulky, although this might depend on what you put in it. I am really happy with this bag. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. And this is a great company!

Bought to use as a diaper bag, love that it’s multi purpose and I can use it once my baby grows up. Love the colors!

I've actually had two of these bags. The first one I received was in a colorway I wasn't really a fan of, but I didn't have time to exchange as I wanted to bring it on a vacation for days when I wasn't hiking but still needed a roomy, durable bag. Despite not digging the colors of the first one, I kept it and brought it with me. The bag was PERFECT! It's absolutely huge without looking bulky and there's enough pockets to keep your stuff organized. It even kept my stuff dry when it started to drizzle, though I never tested it in heavy rain. I also loved being able to convert it to a backpack, but I did find that the straps slipped when wearing it with a jacket. Somehow, I lost that bag and I'm staring down another vacation where I really want to have this bag with me. So I ordered a new one and crossed my fingers that the colors would be acceptable... and I LOVE the colorway! I would give this bag 5/5 stars even if I didn't love the colors, but the new one really sets it over the edge for me. This is a great bag for anyone who needs something rugged and roomy.

I would have ordered a selected color combination direct from Cotopaxi but they don't really have much of a selection currently, so I took a chance on an unknown color combo and got a flop, in my opinion. It's red, lavender, forest green (on back), mustard yellow, navy with avocado green straps and accents of neon pink and orange, and a plum purple zipper. Way too many incongruent colors, and I like colorful stuff. Big disappointment that I'm returning. Nice design, bad colors. Update I updated my rating from 3 to 4 because I rebought the bag in a beautiful blue with red color scheme. Admittedly, I bought it from an online store that showed which colors they had. It's a great bag that can be worn crossbody or you can leave it in backpack position which also allows for wearing it like a satchel. I'm so glad to find one in a unified color palette.

I ended up buying this a week before a trip and it ended up being almost perfect for what I needed! My carryon was already a backpack, so I was looking for a shoulder bag (although this one can be worn like a backpack) that was deep enough to carry an awkwardly-shaped camera case and wide/tall enough to carry some notebooks, but also wasn't super big. The inner water bottle pocket helped keep the profile down. The pockets, both zippered and non, felt thoughtfully spaced out - I didn't take them into consideration when purchasing, but they cam in handy to compartmentalize different papers, money, etc. during my trip. The del dia colors are a gamble but I like the bright colors I ended up with. My only gripe is that the shoulder strap itself is not padded, so if you've got some heavy items in there it can get uncomfortable.

This crossbody holds plenty! A place for a water bottle., a light jacket and other essentials. I love the colors to distinguish it from other totes and bags.

I LOVE this bag SO hard. It was a gamble...I didn’t get to pick my color because each bag is unique. However, when I opened the package I squealed with delight because it’s perfect! The bag is convertible, so you can wear it as a messenger bag or a backpack. This is super easy to do; you just tighten or loosen the straps accordingly. It’s roomy, has several inside pockets to store your gear, waterproof, extremely light weight and, best of all...IT’S SUPER CUTE!!! This is my favorite purchase this year. I’m an avid traveler so this will now be my go-to day pack. If you’re on the fence, just jump and get the bag. You won’t be disappointed 😊

Best travel bag there is, be it city or trail. Very versatile and easy to clean when needed.

So well made, colorful and I love that the bottle holder is inside the tote....keeps it clean! This tote works so nice as a backpack too and holds more than it looks. Hooked on Cotopaxi!

Little bigger than I’d like, but it should be good for travelling. The colours are great considering it was a total surprise. Backpack mode is a little awkward but I’m short so it’s ok.
