A few months ago, I got a new computer. After 10 years with a laptop as my primary computers, I found myself with a mini-desktop computer. Cute little thing, about the size of the first external CD-ROM drive I had 30 years ago. But it did not include a CD or DVD drive of it's own. Enter this little wonder! Stupid simple to use, you just plug it in and it works. Works on Windows 11, on Windows 10 on my girlfriend's laptop, and on a couple flavors of LINUX. I've even hooked it up to a tablet and my Android phone! It's faster than the DVD drive in my old laptop. I took my computer to a meeting for a presentation, and it just slipped into my briefcase with no worries. My only (minor!) complaint is the length of the cable - my computer it mounted on the back of my monitor, and the cable is not quite long enough to allow the drive to sit flat beneath the monitor. On, but having the multiple USB ports and memory card slots on this drive is a real plus!

Inexpensive external CD/DVD drive works fine, though build seems a bit flimsy. Extra USB ports are a convenient bonus.

This drive is amazing! It's hard to believe the quality is so good for such a low price and I have paid way more for others that didn't offer half the features this one does. And my laptop immediately recognized it with little to no effort. This is one of the best peripheral devices that I have ever purchased
