These generic pills are as effective as the brand-name, My only negative concerns the surprise that greets the remover of the aluminum protective covering. Upon picking it off (or pushing it through), the user's next challenge is to extract a cotton wad separating him from the pills in each of the 3 bottles. (My fingers simply don't fit inside the tiny bottle.) Once the user locates a tweezer or nut pick, the extra layer of protection is not a problem. This is a case where the brand name obviously retains detailed control over the generic versions. I simply don't recall the brand as having, in addition to the aluminum seal, a layer of cotton protection inside each miniature bottles.
