Halt Dog Repellant Spray (2)

A whole year after purchasing it and I unfortunately had to use it today when an off leash dog came running up to us. It works. The dog immediately backed off after it came running towards us, even when I aimed it only at the ground. Unfortunantly I did get a whiff of it too, so be aware it is more of a mist rather then a stream but since it is meant ot be harmless and only stop an attack in the moment even getting in the cross fire a but is worth avoiding a dog fight. My dog seemed to also get a whiff of it in the moment and it didn't see to affect him afterward. Not sure how well it would work against a more aggressive dog but it was enough to deter this one who was being very dominant in how it was approaching us and I wasn't about to risk it getting in my dogs bubble.

Bought to carry with me when I disc golf, and when I backpack. It's the same stuff mail carriers use, but labeled differently (I'm retired carrier). Have sprayed many dogs with this stuff over the years...it only failed to work one time (for some reason, one dog ignored it...fortunately, he was an aggressive barker and not a biter). I was only bit once as a mailman...the customer opened the door just as I turned and was walking away, and the dog came out with him and got me...never had a chance to spray. Effective range with no wind is 7-10 feet. In a stiff wind...3 feet.

Minimal protection against aggressive animals, but effective.

The spray was easy to carry and apply as needed. It dispensed consistently and was straightforward to use for general deterrent purposes. Overall, it functions as a simple, portable repellant option.

This product is perfect! I feel safe walking my dog with this product.

Works as intended. My bike rides are much more stress free now.
