This is a game changer.
I handed this over to a friend after talking it up for a couple of days calling coyotes. He focused it in on a couple deer a hundred yards away. “Wow!” Was all he said. He isn’t easily impressed. My first impression was a double wow. This is right next to my binoculars and rangefinder. Don’t know how I didn’t know I needed this.

Bad Battery
Looks like I received a damage or defected battery. I charged the battery as soon as I opened the unit for 6 hours. I unplugged the unit from the charge and tested for about 15 minutes, turned the unit off and placed the unit in its bag over night. I took the unit out this morning for more testing but the battery was blinking red. I would be nice to get a replacement battery if possible would be greatly appreciate. thanks.

Bad Unit or Battery
I needed this to help scan farmland for an ongoing feral hog problem at my in-laws farm (3 hours away). I opened the package and immediately put it on the charger as instructed. I got out to my in-laws the next day and when I went to turn it, the battery was blinking red with no power. I plugged the unit into the wall and it turned on for a moment and said there was no power. I have either a defective unit or a defective battery. Either way I am out for the weekend without this unit that I needed. Extremely frustrating and disappointing especially for this price point. I am sending this back immediately.
