Ordered both the Pro Max+ and the Ultra to compare them side by side. You would think combining a heat and cold element would cause the heating to be at least a bit weaker on the Pro Max+ but actually it was the exact same! I was very surprised they were able to fit all that in a head that's really not that much relatively bigger. I'm impressed with the heating element, the cooling and the overall power of the device. Both devices came with the same attachments, same fast chargers, had the same output of power, same heat level, exact same size and appearance of the body, with the only difference being the Pro Max+ having the additional cooling element in its head. Which for me personally was worth it over the the Ultra. The cooling won't overpower your body heat after a point, but it still performs very well and recools rapidly. As many other reviewers have said, the Theragun is very overpriced in comparison to this. The build quality is amazing, with the matte/texturised finish on the handle. Shockingly easy to hold, the weight is perfect. Heavy enough to show the quality of the build and to really have a deep effect on super stiff muscles. But light enough where it's convenient to use. The ability to rotate for easy reaching is another great bonus. As someone who suffers from very bad soreness in my muscles this was an extremely important purchase. Can't recommend it highly enough!

My Wife and I already have a couple of Massage Guns and we love them. What drew me to this one was the ability to apply Heat and Cold to our deep tissue massages. I honestly was skeptical was ready to return if it was too gimmicky. Long story short, I don't think it's gimmicky. My Wife and I are avid volleyball players. As we've grown older, our bodies require a lot more maintenance than it did when we were younger. Massage guns have been a huge part of that maintenance. Recently, I tweaked my hamstring during a game. It wasn't bad, but enough for me to feel it even when I was sitting. We had an Indoor League Volleyball game coming up and I wasn't feeling great about my hamstring. So I pulled up Gemini and told it I had this Bob and Brad D6 Pro massager, and asked what was the best way to use it to prep my hamstring before the game. Between Gemini and the User Manual, I was able to figure out the correct way to use the Heating head to apply heat to my hamstring during a deep tissue session. After just over 20 minutes, I got ready for my game and my hamstring felt great! I went on to play 3 full games that night and not once did I feel anything on my hamstring. It was miraculous, coming from someone who has gotten good at playing with injuries! Suffice it to say, we're keeping this unit. My conversations with Gemini instructed me to use the Cold head for any new injuries or injuries where I want to keep the swelling down. I haven't had a chance try that out yet, so the jury is out on the Cold capabilities of the gun. But I absolutely love the Heat capabilities already. Plus, there is a whole booklet on how to use the massager for various types of injuries or body maintenance. The Massage Gun itself is an incredible product and very well designed. We love the adjustable head, which allows you to reach areas that a normal massage gun just can't reach like the mid-back and shoulder blades without needing a 2nd person. We also love how quiet the motor is. We normally have to crank up the volume on the TV if we are watching something while we are using a massage gun, but this unit is surprisingly quiet. In terms of quality, the materials and design are top notch. It seems quite durable and there is good power in the motor, as quiet as it is. We love that there are so many modes so you can really fine tune your deep tissue muscle treatments. UPDATE 2/25/26: It turns out that Bob and Brad did include a booklet that gives you information on how to use the Massage Gun. So I am removing the sections in my review that pertain to that missing. Overall we still think this was a great purchase!

The massager I’ve been looking for! I’ve owned many massage guns and wands and this one is without question the best. I’ve had high end expensive, mid range and cheap. They all had one thing in common, disappointing. This unit is well engineered and has excellent amplitude. It’s quiet and the battery life is reasonable. Although the battery doesn’t last as long as some other units I’ve owned I would trade the runtime for performance every time. It might be 20 percent heavier than my version of perfect but it feels perfectly balanced wherever you hold it. The multiple grab angles and adjustable head make finding a comfortable position to work any body part easier than any of the others I have owned. I haven’t owned it long so I cannot speak to longevity. It comes with everything you need to target any muscle with the type massage you want. What pleases me most about this massager is it feels, looks and performs like the professional grade therapeutic tool it is.

Two people in the household have to negotiate when they are using this massage gun because it has been so effective. I have used other brands, and I think that this D6 Pro unit is the most powerful and effective. The attachments that come with it are thoughtfully designed and effective, and the booklet describes the best uses for the attachments. It's strong enough to work out tight muscles and provide relief to trigger points. The heat attachment works well but gets almost too hot after using for several minutes and drains the battery faster.

I have been a therapeutic massage therapist for 16 years and use the gun daily on myself for self care. This massage gun is my 3rd but my 1st Bob and Brad. My 1st gun was a Theragun Pro. Almost immediately upon use the rubber shell over the gun started to peel away. Not sure why since I only used it on myself and did not need to disinfect. It lasted for about a year before the motor went out (started sounding liked metal balls were clanging around inside.) I bought another Theragun and that one lasted about 6 months before the same happened. So I did more research and found that this Bob and Brad had the highest stall force of 85 pounds and 16mm deep amplitude. The stall force is how much pressure you can exert on the gun before the motor will stop or stall. The amplitude is how deep of penetration into the muscle it can go. Needless to say, I think I found my replacement gun. The gun's shape and weight are different from the Theragun. So it took some getting used to. It is heavier than the Theragun but I figure it'll just give me a bit of an arm workout until I'm used to it. The gun comes in an attractive carrying case. The 7 gun attachments are different and much better than the Theragun, I feel. I really can get deeper into the muscles with the different heads. The 90° rotating arm helps getting different muscle angles. There are also 6 different speed levels. All of this combined, I feel really helps me to get deeper into my problem areas. And even tho it feels like a stronger gun than the Theragun, it is a quieter massage gun. So far, I've had this gun for a month and I am very happy with it. I really do use it daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I will update my review if anything happens, but I definitely recommend this as a great buy for massage therapists, athletes, weight lifters. Anyone who needs to maintain their bodies for what they do for a living.

I bought wall mounts for exercise bands from Bob and Brad a few months ago and was impressed by how thoughtfully they were designed. So when I saw the Bob and Brad D6 Pro Max+ Massage Gun, I decided to try it, and I’m glad I did. It feels well-built with a good, solid weight, includes genuinely useful features, and has worked really well as part of my recovery routine. The ergonomic handle makes it easy to reach awkward areas, and the adjustable arm is a clever design touch that I use more than I expected. The buttons are easy to press, and the display is bright and easy to read. It has a good range of speeds to fit anyone’s preference/tolerance. Personally, I like the higher RPMs, while my wife prefers the lower RPMs. The attachment heads screw in smoothly and stay secure. My everyday favorite is the hollow head with a little “give,” which feels effective without being overly harsh. The hot/cold head is a standout accessory. It truly heats up and cools down (not just slightly), and it’s been great for post-workout soreness and my chronic muscle stiffness. I also appreciate that it charges via higher power USB-C instead of a proprietary plug. The OLED screen even tells you whether your charger has enough power, which is a nice touch. The carrying case is also well made. Bob and Brad clearly put real thought into the D6 Pro Max+, as I’ve seen they do with all their products. As a bonus, it even comes with a detailed book that helps you figure out which muscles may be contributing to your issues.

The massage gun attachments stink real nasty out of the box. Off gassing. Didn't experience this with Theragun. Will let them air out a couple weeks before using the device. Tested out the core unit without any attachments. Much quieter than a theragun, I'll give them that much. And cheaper. If the attachments stop stanking so much by the end of the month I'll give it a try and update the review in due time Update: after about a week, the attachments still stunk real nasty so I washed them with mild hand soap. After another week past that, they're finally good to go. Updating the review to a 5 since the positives way outweigh the negative of the attachments stinking like chemicals. They really should let them off gas and rinse them in the factory more, but oh well. Very quiet device compared to theragun elite, and much stronger stall force. I tested that. Great value. Hoping mine doesn't overheat like the person in the other review. Maybe just don't use it for super long time, not sure. Either way, good stuff, especially if you manage to get it on sale for under 200$. Another edit: the attachments are better than I first realized. They're not hard plastic like i first thought. I think I didn't really evaluate them properly first time out of the box because they stunk so bad. They have similar capability to the theragun attachments once they've finished off gassing. They have something similar to the theragun dampened attachment as well, but it's even larger so it dampens even more. They don't have an ultra soft attachment though like the new one from theragun but dunno how useful that is anyways Jan 30 edit: one of the attachments broke while applying strong pressure into my legs. That's the thing with a couple of their attachments. They have a lot of foam far away from where the gun attaches. So when you press hard, the attachments will bend and possibly break in the process. I noticed some similar bending on the IT band attachment. Unlike the theragun one, this brands version is very thin. The theragun one is more chunky of a triangle shape on that attachment which gives better support at the end that contacts your skin. Again, these points aren't deal breakers. Still 5 stars for the price and value combination, but these are definitely things that can be improved on the device Jan 30 update: yeah so I'm starting to realize how none of the attachments can really dig in on 1 focused point. The one time I tried to do that, the attachment was kindof mushy to begin with, and broke. Theragun has a few attachments that can really focus in on a very limited surface area and hence really dig deep into a tight spot. Hence, I'm dropping this down to 4 stars again, for reason of the attachments not accommodating this style of usage. They really need a sturdy attachment that goes into a pointed end. To really dig into the thick legs for example. If they create such an attachment, then I'll bump the rating back up to 5 stars. So close to perfection, but they really need to step in here and make a couple better attachments to really allow the user to dig in with strong force at pinpoint surface area. until then, i think even the theragun elite can apply stronger force to my legs despite the weaker stall force. simply because of the attachments are so precise that it distributes the force over such a smaller surface area that it can deliver that extra oomph as needed. bob and brad's company are really onto something great here though with their superior machinery, they just need to fine-tune the attachments and then theragun would soon be a waste of money. i have high hopes for this product in the future if the company is responsive and remedies the attachments (or adds a couple more attachments as optional even!). just my opinion though anyways, as a long term user of a theragun elite. Edit Feb 7: the company reached out and sent me replacement attachments. Great to know they stand behind their product!

So far I love it. I've owned a theragun pro for 4 years, which I think was $400 on sale, but it was worth it. It was the strongest massager at the time and did wonders for my muscles. It has replaceable batteries, but of course Theragun quit making them, so it was time to move on. Replaceable batteries are awesome and I wish the manufacturers were forced to make these things that way, but that affects their replacement cycle so we are stuck with this. At $200 this is absolutely worth it. It hits hard, and the shoulder and neck areas are just melted into softness. It will probably last much longer, but 2 or 3 years of this would easily justify the price for what it does for me. Thanks for making one so strong. 1 semi negative. This unit does seem more likely to pinch your skin if you're not careful with it. Between the pulsating head and shroud of the unit. And it can give a sting/welt. The hamstring and thighs especially. Yes, this is ALWAYS user error on my part, but it's something to keep in mind. Gotta keep it angled properly at all times. I would still buy it again in a second.

Puessss, no me convence. Al menos para mi uso, que es profesional (soy fisioterapeuta). No es que sea mala, tiene 16 mm de excursión del pistón y aguanta bastante presión, pero es muy incómoda de sujetar y muy pesada. Los cabezales quizás sean lo mejor, buena silicona, aunque el térmico con infrarrojos se queda algo corto en temperatura (no pasa de 40 grados aunque lo dejes estático). Y es frágil, se me acaba de caer de la camilla y se han roto varias pestañas de plástico que sujetaban una de las tapas laterales (las redondas) y lo que es peor, otras dos del compartimento de la batería. Al menos funciona, pero ya tengo excusa para ir a por otra que garantice un uso profesional, que es más cañero y necesita además más ergonomía.

Ich habe zuvor die ältere D6 Pro genutzt und war bereits sehr zufrieden. Mit der neuen D6 Pro/D6 Ultra hat Bob and Brad aber noch einmal ordentlich nachgelegt. Die Massagepistole wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet, liegt trotz ihrer Leistung angenehm in der Hand und hat enorm viel Kraft. Selbst verspannte Muskelpartien im Rücken und an den Beinen lassen sich problemlos behandeln. Besonders positiv finde ich die neuen Schraubaufsätze, die sicher sitzen und sich während der Massage nicht lösen. Ein echtes Highlight ist für mich der Infrarot-Aufsatz. Die Kombination aus kräftiger Massage und angenehmer Wärme fühlt sich hervorragend an und sorgt gerade bei verspannten Muskeln für eine sehr angenehme Behandlung. Ich nutze ihn inzwischen regelmäßig und möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Der Akku hält lange durch, die Lautstärke ist angenehm niedrig und die verschiedenen Aufsätze bieten für jede Körperregion die passende Lösung. Für mich ist die neue D6 Pro/D6 Ultra eine klare Verbesserung gegenüber dem Vorgängermodell. Wer eine leistungsstarke, hochwertige Massagepistole sucht, macht hier nichts falsch. Klare Kaufempfehlung! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Da trennt sich der Weizen vom Streu!! Sehr schnelle Lieferung und sehr gut verpackt. Das Preisleistungsverhältniss ist dem Produkt gerechtfertigt und funktioniert einwandfrei sowie problemlos. Sehr gutes Handling aber auch nicht sehr leicht. Man kann aufgrund der variablen Griffhaltung dieses Gerät einhändig oder auch mit zwei Händen bedienen. Top! Wir persönlich haben uns für das Gerät mit dem zusätzlichen Wärmekopf entschieden und haben es nicht bereut. Das Gerät ist im großen und Ganzen sehr gut durchdacht und man merkt die Qualität. Na gut, dass sind meine/ unsere Erfahrungen im Umgang mit diesem Gerät. Für mich persönlich ist dieses Gerät ganz klar Empfehlenswert!!!
