A MUST HAVE!!!!!!!
there are simply not enough reviews or feedback about the proflex. the little reviews available were helpful and instrumental in our purchase. i have no previous experience with stretching units but a factor in our decision was the easy of installation. unpacking, set-up and installation took my 7 year old son and i less than 30minutes (without him more like 15minutes) to build. i've never installed anything with more ease. like previous reviewers, tools included although one nut was missing. well built and easy to use. we have a 600sq exercise room packed with just about everything one could need and the proflex is by far the most used. oft times we use it while watching tv and after vigorous training. my wife and son are very flexible and still find this unit challenging. i'm very inflexible and have charted my improvements and never thought i could be this flexible in such a short period of time (30days so far). i use it almost everyday and depending upon my schedule spend a mimimum of 5minutes to a maximum of 30minutes relaxing and stretching. a major factor in this purchase was the units "back & shoulder" strectching feature and the ablity to track progress. the only negative is wishing we purchased this thing much much sooner. yes, it's a few hundred more than most decent leg stretching units but as previously stated this baby is well built, highly effective and easy to move. the proflex is A MUST HAVE!!!!!!

My back feels great and is not tightening up when I run now
Just got through seeing a physical therapist for my back. Ended my sessions when the Pro Flex Stretching Machine arrived! Put it together in 20 minutes. Normally I multiply "estimated set up time" by 4 to be safe when I assemble things, not this time. My back feels great and is not tightening up when I run now. I'm gaining flexibility in the first week and can't wait to see what I can do this summer. The owner, David Dise, even called to follow up on the purchase and give me some pointers. Very impressed with that commitment. Great purchase. Nick C.

Great high quality stretching machine
This machine is great! There's very little more I need to say. I had tried a ratcheting type stretcher before and you're stuck with the gears, not remotely smooth and really painful. This thing has screws attached to hand cranks which are conveniently located right below where you're sitting. This works great, that is when I'm able to get to use it. I keep it at my karate dojo and there's a line to get on it! Don't waste your money on a lesser machine, this is worth the cost!

Great for stretching.
I use this everyday. I love how it came easy to assemble. Not in 500 pieces. Great machine.

Proflex Review
This machine is crafted like a tank, took 15 min to assemble with no trial and error what so ever. Some of the best instructions and workmanship I have seen. They even included actual wrenches to do the job. The exercises are great and the machine delivers. The only reason I held back from 5 stars is the following.1. The machine shows to be white in color but I was shipped a dark Grey color.2. The instruction sheet on how to do the exercises is scant, and the very short videos on the website are to much of a pitch for the machine. Now it does not take a rocket scientist to do a stretch, but I think for the price they are charging they should include a video and have more in deph stretching on the website and include guidelines on how often to perform the exercises and what kind of degree gain you should be shooting for.

Good motivation for Stretching
Let me start out saying I like the machine and what it does and the motivation it gives me to stretch after spending $600, overall I feel it's a little over priced for what you receive! But the stretching machines aren't a big commodity out there and this is the only higher class one in the market so no other competitors in it's class to drive cost down. It's a shame it's not made in the USA! I would have felt better with spending the money.I have been using it for a couple months and wanted to give a review of unpacking, assembly and quality of the ProFlex from 5-6 days a week of use.The packaging from where it's from (MADE IN CHINA) wasn't good (this was my first star reduction). My unit came in disarray, some pieces were scratched up but just cosmetic, some pieces didn't fit together well (Second star reduction) and had rust sediment in some holes that the Boom pull pin falls in to and this made it hard to adjust the rotation/Angle of the Boom and to this day it's still hard to pull the pin out of some of the adjustment holes, my daughter and wife can't pull the knob up, not strong enough. The Boom is nice having on the stretcher, but is a bit rickety after a couple months of use, I would say this is the weakest part of the machine and would be the first parts to fail over time. And one of the leg decks is not perfectly level, but doesn't effect the what it does. After all said, I did reach out to the owner of ProFlex David Dise after I first assembled the ProFlex and with back and forth emails, calls, texts, and pictures, he did refund some of my money for the scratches, defects and some extra holes that look like they were fill with weld and painted over (poor quality control). If you're looking for motivation to improve flexibility this might be the piece of equipment for you, I used both the cheaper stretching machines that are similar to ProFlex and wouldn't want to buy one of those again even though a lot less costly, the Proflex is in another class. But realize when buying the ProFlex it's a gamble you might get a good one or not or one in between, hopefully it functions well so you don't have the headache of warranty issues. It seems that the ProFlex company is a one man show and you will need to have patience if you have issues with your unit and getting it worked out.

The best on the market.
I had one of these in the commercial model but I had to sell it when I moved cross country. I have regretted that decision. I’m a senior citizen and a martial art master. As I get older flexibility because more of an issue. This unit addresses that issue admirably. I absolutely love this unit. I have a home gym/dojo that would rival many health clubs. This is one of the gems in my gym if I can get away with such a bad pun.
