HS-PRO1M Camera Hand Strap

I've never liked the traditional "round the neck" camera straps. they're cumbersome, restrictive and basically they just get in the way. So, when my ancient old wrist strap gave up the ghost I went looking for a replacement - of which there were many on Amazon. Sadly most of them looked like cheap rubbish and I was just about to head off to an onlne camera gear suppliers when I spotted this one. It looked ok and was more expensive than the others so I took a chnace and sent for it - I could always return it if I didn't like it. Whilst not the best quality in the world it's very adequate and it works well on my Canon DSLR camera. I first used it with the battery pack attached to the camera - I shoot a lot of motorsport so it means not having to swap batteries as often. It fit perfectly, it's very comfy and the extra strap to anchor it to the wrist makes it feel really secure. I removed the battery pack a few days later to lighten the load a bit for going out to do some landscape photos so had to adjust the strap to suit. At first i thought it wasn't going to go small enough but it did and it's still as comfy as it was with the the battery pack fitted, adjustment was nice and easy. I could have spent more money for a better quality one but this is fine and hopefully will last a while. For the price I think it's excellent value.

Fantastic item so easy to use and attach to DSLR ...feels sturdy and fits on the wrist just nice. Bargain price and great item.

This JJC Hand Grip Hand Strap with Arca Type Plate fits my camera. I have only given four stars because I am not convinced it will be secure enough if my heavy camera starts to fall and because the way it attaches to the camera restrict the cameras ability to attach to my camera tripod plus I mainly use a neck strap. If those are not issues for you then rest assured this is a quality product that looks good and it feels comfortable on the hand.

Wasn’t sure what to expect from this but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, fits my Canon 650, feels strong and well put together and offers a bit more security when holding your camera

I bought this for my son, he was really happy with the hand strap and has been using it everyday since. He uses it with a Canon R7 camera It is comfortable to use and a secure fit. Would highly recomend

Had a Canon hand strap on my 80D for a while and it was just never "right" slipped down, left brackets etc to rub on the camera or my hand. So thats in the "archive drawer" Took a risk on this and I have to say im quite impressed. Has a tripod thread and also the base is tripod base plate compatilble with SOME tripods (my Manfrotto travel but not my Velbon - for that I use the tripod plate) Havent worked out the use of the foldable "hole" on the bottom other than perhaps one of those long over shoulder grab straps. EDIT: Read the description DOH!! Yes it is! I've included pictures as once on the hand you wrap the extra strap around (easy one handed ) and snap on...and then voila - a secure strap with extra security. (you can remove that too) So Pictures show the base, the hole pop up, and the item on my hand (try doing that one handed!) I have an Optech strap on there - so those are just the "tails" should I want to should mount it.. Al in all - Happy with this :-) Easy to use... I like it

I was using a neck strap before getting this hand strap and didn’t like how easily the camera could swing—had a few too many close calls. After seeing a few YouTube recommendations, I decided to try a hand strap, and they were spot on! It’s comfortable and gives me real peace of mind. I no longer worry about dropping the camera. Highly recommend

I do a lot of handheld macro work and quite often, when photographing insects, I use my left hand to hold the stem of a plant or leaf steady to take the shot, putting a lot of strain on my camera hand over time. This grip has proved a pretty good solution and has even helped with the sharpness of some of my images. If I were to level any complaints it would be firstly that the strap slackens over time, meaning it's needs to be re-tightened before each session. Also the part of the strap that attaches to the tripod thread on the camera is quite bulky, which can cause the camera to tip over if not put down carefully, so you need to be mindful of that. Minor complaints but worth noting. 4 Stars.

Remplace très avantageusement les bandoulières sur mes APN. D'abord sur mon reflex EOS 350D où il est parfaitement adapté, je l'ai ensuite essayé sur mon compact X100T. Après un certain temps d'habituation, il ne quitte plus le X100T pour dégainer rapidement et prendre en photo à la volée. En revanche j'ai troqué la plaque Arca un peu trop encombrante pour un anneau sur vis à mettre sur le pas de vis de trépied de l'appareil, et c'est nickel. La dragonne elle-même est en matériaux doux et souples et semble bien robuste
