The size is about is as big as a credit card, just a little thicker. I don't like to store my seed phrases online or electronically since they can me compromised over the wire, this is low tech and a person need physical access to use this. While it is wallet size, I will not be carrying it with me, but store it in a safe secure area. Build quality is great and look durable and can survive more natural disasters. Once inscribed, it works as intended and is a good value for the money.

Typical methods are metal stamping, or engraving with a engraver, or laser the words onto the plate. Btcdove has various different version of these "plates", some are thicker than others, and some have 1 hole and some have 2 holes for securing it; and they are of different prices too. Personally I don't really use the holes, so, I don't care for them. I also don't really care about "tamper" evidence, I guess, if you are trying to pay someone with a wallet, then it is an ok way to show the other party that no one had access to that wallet ever since the originator sealed it. But then to really protect your wallet is to safe guard the plate rather than just putting tamper evidence on it. To me, I think what is more interesting or useful would be having 3 plates, and implement a 2 of 3 recovering scheme, and then physically separate the storage location of the 3 plates, so losing 1 of 3 plates, you can still get your wallet back. What I like: The titanium plate option is (IMHO) a safer option for pass phrase storage, as compared to an electronic wallet. While it may lack the convenience often found with electronic storage solutions, I feel it's safer, since the only way a hacker could ever access the titanium plate, would be if they acquired physical access. This, seemingly primitive, pass phrase solution provides an easy, intuitive, user-friendly, and secure solution for safekeeping of critical pass phrase data. The plate is small, yet provides for enough space for a pass phrase, even if the phrase is somewhat lengthy. What I don't like: There's nothing I dislike about the product. TIP: I have a similar plate kit that included an electronic etching tool, which I highly recommend, as the tool makes the writing of the phrase much more tidy, providing for clearer readability. I would certainly order this item again, as I am fully satisfied with this approach to pass phrase security, and the product is so easy to use; no electricity, internet connection needed.

If you have more than $100 of crypto in a wallet, this is a no-brainer. With these 12-24 words you can restore any wallet and retrieve your funds when needed. Yes, you can just write down your seed phrase, or save on your phone, but this will be much more durable and secure. You will need an engraver or punch set. Both are available on Amazon. I like the advantages of titanium over steel.

This is a great resource to utilize in securing your crypto pass phrases. I'm not a huge fan of keeping your "digital" passwords on a "digital" device... so I really like the ability to etch this and leave it in a safe, etc. This is a good option, inexpensive, and seems like it'll hold up as intended. I love the fact that it's resistant to fire/flood/etc.

This is a good plate. It is as big as a credit card but it is a lot thicker than a credit card it is about as thick as three credit cards. This plate is important because every time it retains its shapes for a long time. It cannot be destroyed. It is resistant to fire and flood. I like the temper evidence sticker that way I know if my seed is compromised. I wish that it could be wider maybe 1 ½ times larger than a credit card. I don’t plan to put this plate in my credit card wallet. There is no need to have this plate to be as big as a credit card. I’ll be putting this at home. Size doesn’t matter. One downside of this seed is writing a small word is not that difficult, Writing a long word can be challenging.

I used a dremel to carve my phrase into this. Be sure to place it somewhere where no one can find it. Or, if you want to be advanced, "salt" it with a password (13th word) that is not printed on this. Then, anyone who gets this will not know the 13th word, and will find an empty unused wallet. Just dont forget the 13th word. It is also worth noting, for Bitcoin, only the first 3 letters of each word matter. So you can write just the first 3 letters of each word... or the entire word. Its up to you.
