No. Our patented IsoGroove technology eliminates acoustic vibrations at the base of the turntable, preserving deep bass performance without any rumble or feedback noise from the turntable.

Will my turntable work with SpinBase 2?

Yes. SpinBase 2 has a built-in preamp, to work with turntables without one built in. Spinbase 2 also works with turntables that have a built-in pre-amp, by connecting them to its Line-Input.

Does SpinBase Max have a built-in phono preamp?

Yes. It's for turntables equipped with a magnetic cartridge.

What inputs and outputs does SpinBase 2 have?

SpinBase 2 offers Phono, Line, Optical, USB, Bluetooth inputs, plus outputs for headphones and a subwoofer or powered speakers, supporting turntables, CD players, and streaming devices.

Can I hook a SpinBase 2 to a subwoofer?

Yes. There is a subwoofer output, and when a subwoofer is connected, SpinBase 2 has a high-pass filter that lets it play even louder by redirecting all the low bass to the subwoofer instead of the built-in speakers. Andover SpinSub is recommended.
