This went on very easily on the closet wall. It's sturdy enough and holds heavy and light irons. I love that it has the hooks for the ironing board. This is a nice, sturdy iron and board holder. Unfortunately, my iron did not fit. I read reviews and measured and it still didn't fit. Company was fast, fast to address concern. My iron is a regular Sunbeam.

Measure your iron before purchase! It is pretty narrow, and wouldn’t fit my Rowenta.It also isn’t white. The plastic part is tan/beige and the part that holds the ironing board is white.Didn’t work for what I needed it for, but if it fits your needs, it’s good quality - especially for the price!

It seems silly, but this is one of my favorite purchases I've made all year! I never had a good place for my iron and it was always floating around in my craft room just waiting to be knocked off a shelf and the cord never wrapped around it right. Now my iron has a great and very useful place to be. The cord fits into the little slot and the iron is very secure. I LOVE IT!

I ordered this item via Amazon. Packaging and delivery speed were excellent, as always.This iron holder is a white and made of very strong plastic. I have no doubt of it's strength and ability to hold up over time. It appears to be made of that thick heat resistant plastic. That means you could probably store a hot iron directly into it, but I would likely still wait for the iron to cool somewhat. It, also, has a small alcove under the iron holder section that can be used to store a wrapped up cord. Very useful.The iron holder comes with an optional ironing board holder. This holder is coated metal and looks adequately strong. It's detached from the plastic iron holder so you can choose not to install it if you won't use it, which I really like. If you look closely at the pictures of this item, you can see that the ironing board holder is best suited for T-shaped ironing boards. (You know the ones with T-shaped legs). I'm not sure if it would work with an X-shaped ironing board.The iron holder comes with three screws to install it. Instructions are on the box. There are no wall anchors and considering the weight it'll need to support, I suggest you supply some wall anchors yourself. Plastic might do, but you may want a little bit stronger.Now, for the million dollar question: Will this holder fit your iron?It may not.The box says "Will NOT accommodate irons with a sole plate 4.75" or more at the widest point." (That's a direct quote, caps and all). No where in Amazon's product description do they mention this very important fact. I looked at the product dimensions with a listed 5.5" width and figured it would hold my 5" iron. Nope. There are two tabs designed to hold the iron in place that limit the width available to store your iron.I have a Rowenta Pro Master iron with a sole plate of ~5" and it does not fit. Please measure your item and be careful.

Before I bought this the iron and ironing board where put away wherever the people in my household saw it fit to stash them. It got on my nerve long enough for me to purchase this holder. I have to say that I'm completely satisfied with it. It's easily mounted to the wall and it firmly holds up both my iron and ironing board. This was a good buy.

If you have a Twenty year old iron maybe this would work. Installation looks like it would be difficult , as well. The hooks are separate from the holder and you have to hold the hooks and try and screw into both the hooks and holder and be holding those, too. Once I saw the iron wasn't going to fit I didn't bother trying to install it.

Sturdy on the wall. Easy to install. There is nothing you can do to make it fall. Almost as much fun as playing ball.
