This is a great little repair kit. We were able to repair a chipped slate countertop very easily. Mixing the color to match was a snap with the color chart and available colors. Just follow the instructions. Can't see the repair when finished.

I was so pleased with the results of the Coconix Tile & Stone Repair Kit, that I had to post a 5 star review right away. 13 holes in the tile became virtually invisible due to the product and good color matching. We had original yellow midcentury modern tiles in our tub/shower, and wanted to retain those while replacing an old and outdated shower enclosure, reglazing the tub and replacing all the fixtures. Not surprisingly, there were holes in the tile after removing the shower enclosure, but more than expected - 13! The tub reglazer had said he could fill and color match the holes, but then backed out. I did some research, found this repair kit on Amazon, saw the good reviews and realized my son could probably do a pretty good job since he is handy and has an uncanny ability to match paint colors. I had a couple of questions, and the customer support was excellent. They responded within a day, and provided helpful information. My son came over tonight, filled the holes first with the included epoxy putty, just below the tile level, then mixed the paints (yellow, white and a little brown) to match the surrounding tile. He had to make some minor adjustments in technique after painting one hole, and found the best method was to slightly overfill the hole with paint, then scrape the excess off gently with a razor blade held straight up. (This worked for our tiles because they were very flat and smooth.) We did discover that the wet paint is a little lighter than the dry paint, so when mixing, make the paint a little lighter in color than the tile you’re matching. Of course, it would be best to let a sample dry first to really know what it will look like. This only takes about 10 minutes, I think. My son said he was initially skeptical that the kit would really work, but he was impressed with the results. I had bought two kits in case we ran out of supplies with the first; however, the second wasn’t necessary. Rather than returning it for a refund, I was so appreciative of Coconix, I gave the unopened kit to my son since he could probably use it for repairs at his home in the future. I’m including before and after photos so you can see how well this product worked. Hopefully, it will age well and not flake off, but I have high hopes for this, too. Thanks, Coconix! You saved my expensive bathroom project for a very small price!

Works well and was easy to mix putty. Color goes a long way so you don’t need much, I hope the color holds to wear and cleaning but am happy with the result. Would recommend for small chips and cracks.

The repair kit works very well. In fact, there had been prior repairs done by a professional that showed as obvious repairs, while this product is merely noticeable. Mixing the paints was easy to do. I ran out of putty, and although the company does not sell the putty separately, they were very responsive in providing me with a replacement kit, demonstrating that they stand behind their product and are concerned about customer satisfaction. All and all, I recommend this repair kit. Good value.

when i moved into my apt, some of the tiles had chips in them and i knew i wasnt going to be able to ignore them. it is hard to get a good match when the tile has a slight marble tone. and once it dried, it was a different color.

Great for small jobs. Works well for all those little nicks in tile that happen during remodels. Nice array of colors and very easy to mix, if needed, and use. Highly recommend it for small projects. I let it dry overnight, so I can't say how fast it dries.

We have Italian clay tiles in our entranceway. Over the years several tiles had cracked and chipped. I searched everywhere looking for replacement tiles but could not find any our color. I didn’t really want to cover them but if I couldn’t find replacement I thought that might be our only option. I saw this kit on amazon and decided I had nothing to loose by giving it a try. The putty provided filled in the cracks and chips beautifully and was not all that hard to work with. Takes a bit of getting use to forming it but after a couple of uses it was easy get them fairly smooth. Once dry, a bit of sanding to make sure it is smooth. Color matching took a bit of time but all the right pigments are in the kit. I am so very happy with how it turned out!!! We had guests a few weeks ago who thought we had them replaced!!! My repairs have been in place for about three months now and holding up very well!! Saved us a ton of money and anxiety because I love them and didn’t want to change them. Another bonus, I learned a new skill!!!

I’ve had a few cracks in my tiles for years, and honestly, I never bothered trying to fix them because I assumed it would be too complicated. I decided to take a chance on this product — and I’m SO glad I did. To my surprise, it was extremely easy to use. The kit comes with a variety of colours, and you can mix them together to get a shade that matches your tiles as closely as possible. I applied it, let it dry, and the results were amazing. The cracks blended in far better than I expected. The before-and-after difference is honestly impressive. If you’ve been putting off fixing cracked tiles because you think it’s too hard, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try. It worked really well for me, even as a beginner. Worked very well to repair a chipped edge on a ceramic bowl. You will need to work quickly as product sets up fast. Colors mixed well to match bowl. Finished product excellent.

This is an excellent product and the customer service is awesome. Personalized instructions and help and emails are responded to very quickly. Would highly recommend this company ! I had a very tricky repair with damaged ledgestone ( caused by BestBuy ). I even struggle to find the damaged areas I repaired and painted. Don’t know how to add another review but here is another success story. I was very sceptical about this one working but check the pics !!!!!
