Good tension
Works well. I wouldn't exactly trust the tension for super fragile soft bodied insect though. But they are great for mealworms without squishing them

If you use feeder insects, GET THESE!
I wish I would have picked these up sooner. With a large number of tarantulas, reptiles, and some frogs, these things are a game changer. Much easier to grab and hold insects at feeding time without crushing them with the typical large tweezers you get from big box stores. Just started using so will see how the hold up in the long term, but with the value is fantastic! Quality seems good. Sturdy but flexible enough to grab insects without crushing. I won't go back to regular tweezers any more except for larger reptile feeding. If anyone has

Every Entomologist Needs This
I feed small animals and have some small insects as part of teaching about entomology. They are amazing! Great way to pick up small insects without hurting them. Used them almost every day for a couple years now and they have made my insect collecting way easier.

As good as the old ones.
With the departure of BioQuip it has been difficult to get specialized items like this. This set is very comparable to the ones I've been buying for years (albeit a bit pricy). Works well for retrieving individual maggots from a corpse.

Exactly what they say they are
Light, functional featherweight forceps that do the job for manipulating small delicate objects (like insects).

perfect for my antkeeping duties
Came in a portable pouch so I could keep them together and carry them in it. Not sure what that cancer warning was for on the package though as I'm not eating anything with them lol.

I used them all the time, but they just feel so low quality.
Cheap but also cheap. Quality is mediocre at best, but they are also very cheaply priced.
