Why does my item have a cancer warning label on it?

Everything that could ship to California requires this label. No one knows what all causes cancer, and California has gone off the deep end wanting cancer information on everything. This now appears on almost everything that is sold today, so you can do your own research on cancer causing ingredients. We are also disappointed in this legislation because it does not appear to effect the desired result. It is merely a compliance notice that manufactures must follow.

My laka has a best by date, not an expiration date. is this good for over year? i opened in june 2022 and it says best by oct 2023. looks good still.

It’s May 2023 so it should be still good if it smells ok and not have any visible moldy appearance

What is the expiry date if i order now? Also how well is this item packaged? I'm worried about product delivered damaged

The expiration date will be different with each batch. We use fulfillment by Amazon, so Amazon will check the date before sending. They will also be responsible for the packaging, although we bubble wrap ours before sending it to Amazon for fulfillment. We feel it's a responsible step in getting it to you safely.

Where is the expiration date located? I cannot find it on my jar. Also what is up with the p65 cancer warning label?

The expiration date can be very difficult to find, but is usually stamped in ink on the glass itself. If you look at the seller's barcode sticker, you should be able to find the info that was found on the case pack that the original items shipped in. This p65 warning is due to California legislation requiring a notice for anything that could cause cancer - which is unknown. If it is not followed by a specific chemical known to cause cancer, it is merely a compliance notification that manufacturers are required to add.
