Celestial Dot Matrix Notebook

I got this book to replace my Leuchtturm 1917, which had extremely thin pages and disappointing paper quality. Here are the key features of this book, as far as I can make them out. Some of these may be a positive or a negative, depending on your preferences. - Strong, sturdy cover with attractive design - Smooth, thick pages with minimal bleeding and ghosting - Cool-toned true white paper, NOT warm-toned cream or beige - Pages lay flat nicely - Dots are not exactly but just about aligned on both pages, which makes double-page spreads possible but not perfect - One page marker - Back pocket - Large dots that are quite easy to see and don't blend in to the background - Pages are not numbered Personally, I am extremely happy with this book so far. I like white paper and large dots don't bother me - I also don't have a problem with only one page marker, though if that's an issue for you I think there are tutorials online on how to make one. I also don't use an index so numbered pages aren't important to me. The cover is even prettier in real life, and I've been impressed at how well it's held up so far - I've had it for a couple of weeks of daily use and it isn't showing marks from binder clips etc so far, though of course it can't and won't stay pristine forever. The big thing for me is the paper quality. I was so disappointed with the Leuchtteurm and Moleskine paper density. This is so much cheaper than those brands and the paper is much thicker and stronger. It's hard to tell what the gsm is exactly - there's no information here or on the internet - but I suspect it might be 100gsm like the plain bullet journals made by the same Essentials brand. It's not quite the paper thickness of a specialist product like Archer and Olive, but factoring in the price and ease of purchase (A&O are so hard to find in Europe) I'm really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality bullet journal. I hope the company expand their range of bullet journals in similar beautiful designs so I can buy another one when this one runs out.

Well, first off the cover is absolutely beautiful. As others have said, the dots don't perfectly align on the pages, but I think it's still possible to make a decent-looking double spread. On the contrary, I think the dots aren't too dark. I was scared they're gonna be like a black colour but only fairly visible in colour (although the size is on the bigger side.) I'm really impressed with the ghosting and feathering. The only pen that was really visible on the other side was my fountain pen but that happens on nearly every piece of paper I use, So it's not a big deal. The fountain pen is also very inky but it held up with the feathering pretty well which I'm impressed by. There are no pages for the index and it isn't numbered which I prefer, but it may be a downside for you. Haven't used this book for long, will update if I notice the binding getting loose and I tend to be very rough with pages (my last journal completely fell a part which was devastating.)

I bought this for my 2020 bullet journal and could not be happier! It's a beautiful design with thick pages that I find keep the pen from running through. I would recommend as a great affordable bullet journal.

This note book is beautiful. The quality of the cover and the thickness of the pages is amazing. The dots are not dark at all and the Pages are white, unlike many note books with a beige tone to it. Absolutely pleased with my purchase!

The notebook arrived in excellent condition, the design is gorgeous, but I expected it to be a bit more bright (but the design is more of faded in some parts)

I’ve had this book for about 5 months now and it is holding up well. It never leaves my side and sits in my bag all day and so far there is no extreme bending of pages or the cover that isn’t to be expected. The front cover is starting to dent and scratch and slowly the gold detailing is fading to silver which is a little disappointing because it ruins the look but once again I kind of expected that considering how often I use it. But it is something to bear in mind. I’m not sure what the thickness(gsm) of the paper is but it does seem to be pretty thin compared to some journals I’ve used but it is nice quality. The dots are kind of dark(almost distracting) and makes the paper look slightly grey in colour but if you’re me and you tend to stick a lot of things in your journal as well as the classic bullet journaling it shouldn’t bother you too much. Overall the paper is nice quality, and the binding holds up very nicely, so far it hasn’t broken on me and it’s beginning to get very thick. Normally with other journals I’ve used they don’t hold up very well once I begin to stick a lot of add ins inside so I love that it still holds its shape. I fully recommend this journal, it’s beautiful and a decent quality for the price, just beware of the thin paper as certain pens may bleed through to the other side and it doesn’t take too well to water colours. One major con though is that this company has some beautiful notebooks but I can only find this one of similar designs that come in a note matrix format and it’s disappointing. If there were more designs like this for bullet journaling I would probably buy them all without regrets

Beautiful notebook - lovely quailty, and I love dotted matrix pages; both notes and sketches always fit nicely within this layout.

Beautiful bullet journal, lasted me all year and didn’t fall apart despite my carrying it around all the time.

This book is just beautiful. I ordered it because I fell in love and I'm so glad I did. I use a different book for my bullet journal (scribbles that matter) but I'm currently doing The Artist's Way and I like having a separate book just for that. Isn't this a perfect book for your Morning Pages and other tasks? My only complaint is that there's no pen loop. I love the feel of the cover, the way the pages feel when I write on them (my preferred pen for the last several years has been the G2 0.38 and it works just fine on these pages, not too scratchy). The elastic to hold the pages closed is tight enough...a lot of brands of blank books have loose floppy elastics. I really love this book and even though it's not good for a bullet journal imo (top reason is that I hate numbering my own pages!), it's great for regular journaling for for The Artist's Way.

Lo amo è bellissimo, la copertina è rigida i dettagli perfetti e le pagine non sono troppo fine quindi per fare un bullet journal sono perfette lo consiglio tantissimo anche se ci ha messo tanto ad arrivare ne è valsa assolutamente la pena

Un très beau carnet! très solide et bien plus épais que d'autres marques telles que Leuchtturm, qui est de la pure arnaque! A very sturdy and beautiful notebook, much thicker than a Leuchtturm... which is pure crap when it comes to paper thickness!

De verdad es tan hermoso y elegante, justo lo que buscaba, buen gramaje (120) y las hojas están súper lisitas, sin duda cuando se me acabe volveré a comprarlo
