Speidel-FE720 Plastic Fermenter - 60L (15.9 gal)

Awesome brewing vessel bought 2 to replace my buckets very well built easy to clean and professional looking. Brewing wine 2 at a time now with ease. Highly recommend over the buckets big screw on lids and over size bubbler makes it easy to monitor your brew.

Wow! This is a great fermenter! I've used carboys for 34 years to make beer, but I will retire them all! They are not easy to clean and can be very dangerous if you drop one! This Speidel fermenter has enough capacity to hold 7.5 gallons and still have enough headspace for krausen. The handles are strong and makes moving them around very easy. As for cleaning, the lid is quite large, so it's very easy to reach inside access everything. Also, the airlock is included along with a spigot which will accept 1/2" tubing which is great for filling your kegs, and also a cap that can replace the airlock for long term storage. Overall, it is well built and worth the price!

This is an excellent fermenter for the winemaking hobbyist. I just bought a second one and am brewing a big load of peach wine. The gas-tight seal works great, even after a couple years of use. It is easy to mix fruit and chemicals in, press down the cap and finally, to clean. I do recommend sitting it on a platform prior to filling as the thing weighs a couple hundred pounds when full. I use a hydraulic lift platform to raise it up high enough to service and syphon the wine. I got my wheeled hydraulic lift at Northern Tool

I love these German made fermenters. Take care not to scratch the interior, this will last for years of use

Perfect for fermentation of anything. I bought for the fermentation of bacteria for producing some enzymes.

Got this as an upgrade after brewing for monthes in a bucket based setup. Definitely recomend. The buckets work with some work, but maintaining an airtight seal gets to be a problem after a few batches. Once that is lost you let air in and the flavor just isnt as good. This is working great for me. Wide opening, easy screw-on parts, heavy duty enough to lat. Def. recomend getting this before a bucket setup if you're thinking of getting into brewing.

Really like this fermenter. Sturdy and easy to clean. Air lock is fantastic. I added lines on the outside of the fermenter so that I can see how many gallons are in it. Will buy more of these so that I can have multiple beer batches in process.

Bought this for my Bourbon kit. Worked great! I have another batch ready to distill soon!

Great for doing large batches and easy to clean. Drilled a hole in the front and installed temperature guage. Best price I could find was on amazon. Shipping was really fast.

I would give this item and seller a 100% rating. Great as a fermenter for beer or a vessel for water etc, its very well made, very sturdy and robust with good solid handles that wont break off whilst moving it when its full of beer ;) The attatchments are good quality and very well made. The thing that impressed me more was the excellent service i received from the seller, it was delivered days earlier than the expected delivery date which meant i could put it to good use immediately to ferment 50 litres of Belgian blonde beer that urgently need a safe place to rest. I will be ordering another few within the next couple of weeks/months so I hope to post similar reviews in future. Cheers Keep up the good work

Love it! Didnt waste any time getting this fermenter going. Lid seals great! I saw reviews complaing about the lid and the seal falling out... not sure what they mean. Lid was easy to take off and put on. Great fermenter! Glad I got it!

Fermentador con boca ancha que ayuda a lavarlo más fácil, y viene completo con llave y airlock. Sierra bien, manteniendo la presión de la fermentación y es de buen material.

The barrel is a fantastic product, but unfortunately, the order came incomplete with no airlock, which is a critical part of this piece of kit. So thumbs up for the barrel but thumbs down for no airlock
