Not Really Bitter?
This isn't quite what I was expecting, taste wise. Is it bitter? Yes. It tastes pretty awful, as you'd expect of a concoction with "bitters" in the name. But this stuff isn't as bitter as I was expecting. It seems to have more sour notes. Additionally, while I am a bit leery of some of the herbs in this concoction, for short term use I would not be worried.Supposedly, the bitter taste stimulate the salivary glands, which helps get the bile secretion and all that other digestive stuff going. I didn't really notice a difference with my digestion after using this, but my digestion tends to be pretty sluggish and very resistant to being sped up. Triphala powder is much more bitter (so bitter, I had to use tablets actually) and honestly did more for me than this.I appreciate that this is alcohol free, and that it comes in a suitable container. Herbal preparations are best stored in dark (amber) bottles, and glass is best. I do believe that this is a quality product. I was not especially impressed with it, but do not discount that it may have value to others.

Trusted brand digestive bitters!
These digestive bitters are a solid herbal formula and we like that the ingredients are USDA-certified organic and alcohol-free. The blend includes several classic digestive herbs such as burdock root, dandelion leaf and root, fennel seed, gentian root, ginger, and orange peel, which are traditionally used to stimulate digestive enzymes and support digestion. The taste is definitely on the strong side if taken straight from the dropper. The bitterness is pretty intense, which is typical for digestive bitters, but it may be a bit much for some people. That said, it becomes much more pleasant when mixed into warm water, tea, or juice, where the citrus notes come through and the bitterness is balanced. One thing we appreciate is that the product is organic and uses a gentle extraction process intended to preserve the botanical compounds. It would still be nice to see clearer information about independent testing for things like heavy metals or contaminants, since that’s always reassuring with herbal products.Overall, this is a good-quality digestive bitters formula. If you’re comfortable with the naturally bitter taste (or don’t mind diluting it in a drink), it’s an easy way to incorporate traditional digestive herbs into your routine. As far as value for money, I think you are paying for the fact its organic but as a 3 pack its decent (not great) value

Read my review if you have food allergies
I was excited when I saw this product because I've heard about digestive bitters for years. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use it since I was just reading over the ingredients and realized that it contains fennel, which I'm very allergic to. I came close to trying it and only just noticed the fennel in time, so if you have a fennel allergy steer clear! For those with allergies, here's a list of all ingredients (all ingredients are listed as organic, except water): burdock root, dandelion leaf and root, fennel seed, gentian root, ginger root, juniper berry, orange peel, yellow dock root, glycerin, water, lemon concentrate. The bottles that I received all have an expiration date roughly 1 year in the future. I received 3 2-oz bottles, and the recommended dose is 2 droppers full daily. Due to my allergy, I cannot taste it or try it, but hopefully having the ingredients listed will help others. I really like Mercola products, I've tried quite a few of them and feel that they try to make good quality supplements.

Very strong taste, trusted brand
I have been interested in trying digestive bitters as I have been seeing it online a lot. I am always hesitant to try something "trending" because so many companies jump on board and produce substandard products. These ingredients are all organic and the brand is trusted. They are easy to take as drops, which are more absorbable as well, but the taste is pretty intense. They are bitter for sure (as advertised in the name....), so if you can find something to mix it in with to get it down, it may be easier. I just deal with it as a dropper full and then wash it down with something else. The long and short, trusted brand, bitter taste, works well, and worth the cost.

My New Go‑To Before Meals
These bitters taste strong but clean, and they really help with bloating and heavy meals. I love that the formula is alcohol‑free and uses quality herbs. The 3‑pack is a good deal. Highly recommend. Dr Mercola is a name I recognize with quality products
