Very cute!
My daughter is obsessed with Tamatoa. It’s really quite hard to find any kids gifts with him on there. She loves this little toy and very sturdy. Good quality and excellent colors. She even takes it in the bathtub and none of the colors have rubbed off

Shiny. Very shiny.
For the collectors: Box was a bit bent. Paint is tight and bright. Detailing is great. Looks good in or out of the box. For the rest of us: This is such a pretty Pop. Having Maui's hook on his back is such a nice touch. Also there are sparkles mixed in with the gold paint to make him extra shiny. His antenna seem like they could break off if you're rough with it, but you'd have to be pretty aggressive. Just a super little Pop.

But How He’s In the Box Tho :(
Tamatoa himself looks awesome! Great details. Def sparkles like a wealthy woman's neck. What’s not awesome is how he sits in the box. It is NOT as shown in the photo with his face facing forward. Instead your choices are either to look at his back or his belly. If you want his back which is certainly the more interesting part and you also you want to see his face thru the top, then his name is upside down. Just wished he faced forward & out like the image shows. Looks goofy kinda on my shelf. Still love him tho! Definitely not to be played with. This Pop is strictly for display—he’s way too fragile to handle out of the packaging.

Cute and durable
Our family is full of Funko fans. The three of us each have our own, including our toddler. Our daughter loves Moana, and Tamatoa is one of her favorite characters. Since she already has some other Funkos, we decided to pre-order this one. At first, the big toothy grin was a bit much for her, but by the next day, she was running around with this Pop and singing "Shiny" with him. This has the same great quality of all our other Funkos and we feel comfortable allowing our 2-year-old to play with this without supervision. There is quite a bit of glitter on his back so, if you have an aversion to glitter, this is not for you.

Awesome Addition to a Moana 2 Birthday Decor...!
This even looks better when it arrived - well made & the colors are vibrant which is great as we intend to use it as a prop during my kid's Moana 2 themed Birthday party - birthday girl loves it & couldn't be happier with this purchase as it was exactly as depicted - highly recommend for anyone looking to buy Moana inspired toys...!!!
